Excellent book on the introduction to pen-testing & Kali Linux, steep learning curve. Setting up the virtual Labs is a challenge, would have helped if the book showed the VR Lab set up on a Linux host i.e. Ubuntu running VM, as the book shows how the to set up Windows as the host running VM, just a minor point. have only so far read the first few chapters, lots more to learn and explore.

The quality of this book is great in every way including the print quality, paper and artwork quality, and the binding. It feels solid like a good quality (and expensive) school textbook.Content coverage is extensive probably unmatched by anything I've seen in print so far.Of my large collection of hacker and computer security references this the most impressive in regards to going from zero to hero in a single book.Most of the books I buy are good books and worth the money.. this is a GREAT book at a level of learning you just don't get often enough in books.
