GracoGrows4Me 4 in 1 Car Seat, Infant to Toddler Car Seat with 4 Modes, West Point

My daughter and I were t-boned by a garbage truck 10 days after installing this car seat. I have a spinal fracture and torn ligaments above my spine, and she slept through it without even a scratch on her head. I can’t afford another one right now but when I can I will be buying again. It is comfortable, snug, safe, and worth every penny. 100/10!!!

Didn't give a lot of stars because I couldn't use it for my newborn. It says 4-1 but it's not for newborns. He was too small for it. Still haven't switched him over to this car seat. He is 4 months now

It may feel like a pain to do, but reading the manual will help TREMENDOUSLY when it comes to setting up the seat and getting the best fit for your child.I did a lot of researching to decide on an updated carseat for my daughter. She recently turned 1 and is over 30 inches tall. Her infant seat was just too tight for her height, though she hadn't maxed out on its weight capacity.I am a licensed social worker with a specialty in Child Welfare, so I've used SEVERAL carseats in my lifetime and professional career. This was, by far, one of the easiest ones I've installed and I found it to be easier to maneuver than her infant carseat was. I have "mother's wrists" as a result of my pregnancy which makes lifting heavy items very difficult for me at times. This was rather easy to lift and while it is VERY solid, it did not cause any strain.This photo is from my daughter's first car ride in the seat. She did fall asleep and, while her head is somewhat slumped forward, I noticed that she had more head support from this seat than she would've in her infant car seat.

Beautiful design, has many features, comfortable and good thick material. Easy to use and clear instructions in manual and on seat. Correct position indication for specific weight of child(ren) on bottom of car seat base. (Sorry about background noise in video..)

The clips to anchor them to the car are a hassle to say the least. Getting them on not too much trouble though.BIG HEADS UP as I was not aware when ordering this. The base does NOT COME OFF!!!!!I had to be escorted by a nurse to show her I had one before being discharged from the hospital because of it.Overall not a fan. Had I know it would have been this bad I would have just coughed up the extra 100$ for the other version which I believe does detach.OH ANOTHER HEADS UP! Turns out this is not compatible with ANY stroller.That's right not just oh I have to find a GracoNO MY PARENT FRIENDS ANY STROLLERAs the base again DOES NOT COME OFF. That means no stroller. just a set and leave alone car seat.Actually at the start I was going to give it a 3 star but naw 2 it is.
