FORCE GC300 Wireless Controller Review
Been using this controller for over two weeks. Works as expected. No stick drifting so far. Fits my hands as well. I was in the market for a sub 30 bucks controller and this one was in my range at the time. I wished it has Hall effect sticks but you get what you paid for it. Software wise you need to install msi center to adjust your controller configuration. The software is okay but it could be better if it could show the exact battery life percentage of the controller.

Best second party controller on the market
Works perfectly, Zero lag, feels good, no setup required, size is that of a Xbox one controller give or take, cord length is just rightDo note that this is not compatible with consoles, its only compatible with pc as far as I have been able to tell

Awesome plug and play
This is my second MSI controller. The first one lasted through 5 years of heavy gaming. It really like the plug and playability of this controller, no drivers needed and it's comfortable to use even for long gaming sessions. The button and stick configuration is excellent. The back and start buttons are offset instead of being above the joysticks for ease of use. You can play connected or wireless and the battery has great lasting power with wireless playability for more than 12 hours of continuous play. This is My go to controller for Steam play.

The MSI Force GC30V2
This controller is really good, especially at its price point. The MSI Force GC30V2 feels a lot like an Xbox controller, but honestly, I actually prefer its top bumpers over the Xbox’s. They’re more comfortable and have a satisfying, clicky feel. The rest of the controller is solid too, with responsive buttons and nice vibration feedback. Connecting it is simple, just plug in the USB dongle for PC, or use the provided OTG adapter cable for Android and hold the mode button for 3 seconds to switch modes. The battery life is solid, and swapping between devices is easy. For the price, it's a viable choice. I took one star away for not being bluetooth.

Not Reliable At All
The controller would constantly disconnect from the dongle. It initially connects to the dongle fine, but about 30 seconds later it will disconnect.. about 30 seconds later, it re-connects.. disconnect.. re-connect.. It keeps this vicious cycle up until I switch to Bluetooth, which by the way, the Bluetooth works great. And, the A button seemed like it was stuck on repeat. When I would click the A button once, it would be as if I clicked it multiple times or hard pressed it. Also, after about 3 hours of play it developed a bad upward drift on the right stick. I know none of this stuff is game setting related stuff because I tested it out on other controllers and I didn't have any of these issues with any other controllers, not even cheap dollar store controller.

works great, only one complaint
Love the MSI controller, best one I've used so far.PROs:It works right out of the box. no setup or fighting with any hidden settings or connections to get it to work.It stays connected during useIt even has a power save mode that will shut it off after not being used for a while which made me panic the first time as my last controller was a nightmare to get reconnected. The USB dongle that it comes with makes it so much easier to use and reconnecting is an absolute dream.Just push the center dragon logo button and boom, it wakes up and instantly reconnects.CONs:This one is very minor, sometimes one of the buttons makes a slight squeak sound from my finger sliding across the super smooth button surface.Seriously that is my only complaint so far.I've used it for Phasmophobia, Mortal Kombat 11, Hollow Cocoon, over the past week or so since I got it and it is fantastic. It is so nice to have a wireless controller that actually connects and has a decent range (I've not found a limit to it yet, I can play at a comfortable relaxed distance from my desk.Final thoughts, I love it, and highly recommend this MSI controller.I think some complaints were about needing the USB dongle and needing to carry two things with you if you bring it somewhere with you, but honestly having it makes this such a better controller to use. A serious improvement to quality of life in my opinion.

My first gaming controller, love it! (7 months owner)
I bought this in july of 2024, and I used it with my first gaming laptop, oh god, I haven't touched a controller since PS1 days, and I could tell.It took me a good while to get used to the controller in my big skinny hands, but it was great!I changed the left stick for the flat wheel thingy, and it is a beautiful thing let me tell you, its way more precise and easy to click with my thumb.I haven't used wireless yet since I like having the cable like old times, but it is very responsive and works perfectly for me. All games I've played recognized it right away, so I have had no issues with it.For a budget controller, I recommend this MSI Force GC30V2 !
