Kurt Adler 3 Assorted Battery Operated LED Gingerbread House Clay Dough Christmas Ornaments Pack of 2

I started a tradition with my four kids a long time ago where they each get a new ornament for Christmas and someday, when they have their own Christmas tree, they will get to take their box of ornaments as a starter set. We also have a tradition of decorating gingerbread houses every year. So last year I got these Kurt Adler Gingerbread House ornaments, one for each kiddo (they are young adults now...). They are beautiful and everyone loved them.We have been treating them very carefully, assuming they were made of resin and would break easily. Well today we were taking down the tree (yeah, finally...don't judge me) and one of the eyelet hangers came loose and I was left holding just the red ribbon while the little gingerbread house slipped down the tree to the CERAMIC TILE floor. Nooo.....!!!!!In that split second, I was already heartbroken, expecting to hear the gingerbread house shattering on the tile. Even as I hoped that the bumps down through the tree branches would reduce the impact a bit, I thought the best case would be a massive glue project, and the worst case would be broom and dustpan. But as it bounced off of a tree branch and bumped into the nearby wall, I noticed that the sound was not right. Did the wall just buffer it? Then it hit the floor.....with a tiny, dull thud. I was shocked. I picked it up...and it was completely unharmed!Turns out, these are made of a rubbery material that absorbed all the impact and there was no damage at all. I just have to glue the eyelet back in, and check the others for the same issue. I am so freakin happy I just had to come write a review! LOL - Happy New Year!

Although the ornaments are cute, one of the gingerbread house lights do not turn on. Changed the batteries with the other houses and it still doesn’t work. It’s probably the mechanism inside that’s broken. The seller says that it’s a Fulfilled by Amazon order so Amazon customer support would need to be contacted. I’m still keeping the houses because the other 2 still light up- just wished that they all lit up.

Ordered these as we needed three different Gingerbread houses, but we only received two of the three variations. Unable to contact seller, so I am leaving this review as we are disappointed in the product. Great quality, but we wish we would have received the third variation.

This set was to be a gift however the snow on one is cracked all along the front and the lights on another are quite dim. Overall I am disappointed.

They're plastic. The tag is cut off something else and attached. Not all the words are even on it. And, one of the three houses doesn't even light up. Even after changing the batteries for new ones. This was a Christmas gift. I'm highly dissatisfied.

These were great as a mini gingerbread village in front of our TV for the holidays. They are beautifully detailed and the lights added a good touch. Looking forward to using them again every year.
