Worked Very Well - Bad Pain to Nearly None
I have a meniscus tear from childhood that's only been a minor problem until I aged. And my left knee is now bone on bone. I used injections of hyaluronic acid for years, and it worked extremely well, but now doesn't work at all.I've worn this brace for three days now. This morning, my pain was especially bad. I often was reduced to walking like Chester on Gunsmoke. After my shower, I applied the brace and stood and walked with no pain at all. Zero. Total relief.I think I've finally dialed in how best for me to use it. Orientation for me is determined by the longer of the main straps being above the knee where the thicker part of the leg is. I apply the secondary inner straps to hold it in place over the knee cap, apply the lower main strap and then the upper strap. I've learned to start applying it slightly low and really getting the main straps tight. It feels like it will be too tight for circulation, but that won't happen. As with any elastic, the straps will take a day or two to stretch so they don't slacken a bit during the day. I suspect the actual placement details may depend on individual problems. But I think I've hit on my ideal. It feels like the relief is from a combination of stabilizing the patella and prevent undue side to side movement that can cause the bone surfaces to slide across each other.I find it very comfortable to wear all my waking hours. Oddly, since I wear it, I no longer have pain in the right knee, which may be because I no longer have an odd gait from trying to avoid painful movements in the left.I don't know how I could be happier.

A bit of false advertising but good quality, good for the price and does what's intended
I bought this to replace a meuller knee brace I bought at a sporting goods store that wasn't working for me anymore. I'm only 25 but I've had knee pain and buckling since I got hit by a car in the crosswalk last year after they ran a red and weren't paying attention. I was really worried about wasting my money because I'm kind of having to be frugal right now, so I did do some digging into the claims around this brace before I bought it. I can tell you that the doctor holding the brace in the picture has nothing to do with this product, and the bit about it being 'worn by professional athletes around the world' is false. It was hard because there is literally no trace of this knee brace or the brand that makes it anywhere else online except for this Amazon page. But I can tell you it was designed in Isreal in September of last year and the designer filed for a patent on it in April of this year which is still pending. So it is not designed in America and made in Germany like it says here either. The box says made in China also. But false advertising gimmicks aside, I bought it anyway based on the good reviews. I'm 5'7" and around 155lbs and bought a medium. My measurements are 14" to 16" and it fit perfect. It is a very good quality brace, it seems sturdy and does what it's supposed to do which is make my knee feel more stable and help with the pain. It is a little shorter than the meuller brace, about 2" difference, but it is a better brace than that one. It does leave red marks on the skin, especially where the knee hole is, and made my skin itchy after wearing it for a while. I put on a copper fit sleeve under it which fixed the itching and after wearing it for a while I'll see if it helps the marks too. It is a bit bulky so don't expect it to be invisible under pants like the woman wearing skinny jeans in the product video. But over all, despite some false claims to hype the product, it is good quality and good for the price (it was $19.99 with a $2 coupon making it $17.99 when I bought it, I see it is now $24.99) and it does its job very well. I do recommend. I have noticed after wearing it for a few days I'm having to pull the straps a little tighter than before, maybe my knee was swollen and I didn't realize and this fixed it or maybe it's stretching, I don't know. If it is stretching I will probably update that later. But right now I can tell you it's a good brace and worth it.

Offers moderate stability to knee. The Velcro tabs on the 4 straps wear out quickly.
Easy to apply once the user has noticed the product label on one of the four straps, that being one of the larger straps. Thereafter, one positions that labeled straps in the proper knee orientation. I have a right medial meniscus complex tear. I had a plasma rich protein injection (PRP) about 70 days ago, with reduction of pain ($1000, out of pocket-- insurance does not cover any cost -- but insurance companies once denied men have osteoporosis and denied all drugs like alendronate sodium (Fosamax) thirty years ago when I was diagnosed with osteopenia, and my father was in a wheel chair from spine and femur and humeral fractures from ground level falls. Anyway, this brace allows me to play tennis, cut my grass and stand on ladder rungs, though it does not completely prevent severe to moderate pain if my knee is made unstable by knee twists beyond the limitations of the brace. My main "knock" about the brace is that the 4 Velcro tabs (one on each strap) are puny and last only 3 months (at least for me) with heavy usage. Thus, this is my second brace. If I had a sewing machine, replacing the little Velcro material on each tab would be easy.
