I love the creative freedom this camera gives me. I can simulate the drone shots, active ultra steady cam and even the crane. Reframing is brilliant and Mobile app allows me to edit my stuff on the go before I get back to my computer.

The camera arrived in very good time. Very well boxed, double boxed. Item is fantastic to use and the videos are something else. My friends and family are surprised at the videos that I have produced using this Camera.

I've decided to return mine.The picture quality is alright for a quick look, but not quite what I'd want it to be. The interface is clunky and inaccurate. It is very simple to use for basic pictures and videos and 360 shots are definitely an interesting technology.However, what really made me choose to return it is how much trouble I've been having with the app. Most of the time, it fails to connect to the camera. When it does, it randomly drops. When I try to look at the gallery, it fails to load the picture. When I try to play videos, I get about a second of playback for every 5-6 seconds of buffering.And on top of that, I lost all shots of an event due to corruption using the included SD card and not doing anything special.I love the technology, but my experience was that the user experience isn't quite there yet.

I have calmed down after receiving the camera last week but only just !The camera is clearly very clever and lots of projects to explore. However if you want to get really irritated just follow the tutorials and the only video you want to line up is a video of the camera being smashed to dust with a massive sledge hammer , it is that frustrating. It is clear app is unstable as it keeps crashing especially on iPad. Seems ok on phone though. However once you start reading the tutorials you will end up irritated as previously explained. It is clear the instructions have been written by geeks who know the camera too well and cannot relate to starting out with the camera and the associated assumption of some knowledge which none of us have as we did not build it. i would love to meet one of the geeks and share them till they exude an iota of common sense which would take longer than anyone has time for. Best advice I can give is to go very slow and slowly try some of the easier effects and see if you can find any advice online not written by the manufacturers.

I purchased this device primarily for 360 pictures. I was hoping the resolution would make for crisp, high quality images but unfortunately, they were much more blurry than expected. I will need to look for an 8k 360 camera for better image quality. Other than that, the video worked / looked fine and the hidden selfie stick was great, but the software made this device virtually unusable. It was very unintuitive and not at all user friendly. Overall, the Insta360 was more of a hassle than it was worth and the quality for images was not great, so I returned it and will wait for several years until the image quality improves.
