RothcoMock Turtleneck Long Sleeve Mock Turtleneck Basic Solid Pullover Undershirt

I use the Rothco mock neck Undershirts quite often in the cold North American northeast. The shirts fit comfortably, and offer protection to my skin as an undergarment in the cold months. I love the shirts so much, I have ordered each one of them multiple times. LESSON LEARNED years ago - be careful drying clothes in the dryer today. Generally I hang items, such as my Rothco Mock necks away from other clothes, and allow them to dry without shrinking or wearing out the fabric. If you need a shirt ASAP you can always dry it in a light or delicate/casual mode in the dryer.

Like them for the quality...

The first thing to keep in mind is there’s no accounting for taste: Many of the “negative” descriptions of the fit are exactly the fit I am looking for!So, full disclosure: I like cuffs to be snug, but very frequently wear the sleeves pulled up my arm to expose my forearm. I like the collar to be snug, but the body to be loose so I can move with shirt tucked in. And also when I put on a little weight from time to time I have room to grow. And it doesn’t show off that I’ve gotten pudgy over Christmas. (Other folks want them skintight; not me!)Next, I’m 6’4” 250lbs and the 2XL fits exactly as I want it to. The collar is snug but not tight the cuffs are snug but not tight (if I pull them up on my arm they loosen up until the next washing of course). More amazingly, I need a 35 or 36 inch sleeve, and these fit me. The tail is long enough to tuck in even though I’m tall, and it stays tucked in.And the cotton is crazy comfortable.Also, this is not thermal underwear with special air pockets designed into it or heat trapping layers. It’s a basic cotton mock turtleneck. Adds a lot of warmth, but strictly speaking it’s not thermal gear.I have used these shirts as a shirt, paired with a tweed sport coat for a nice but casual evening in the fall; I have worn them with a black kilt and steel toe boots at a pub; I wear them working in the national forest with light flannel shirts in cool weather — heavy flannel shirts when it’s colder — and sometimes a light jacket layered over that if we’re getting down into the 30s. (Fahrenheit) But for serious cold, I might look for something a little more technical.So to sum up: The material is great, they look sharp alone, but add warmth to a layer; the tail and sleeves fit a tall guy, and they have much larger sizes than 2XL — perfect!

Good quality.

The good. Comfortable material. Medium weight. Fits well under a class b uniform. Good value for the moneyThe bad. Far too short. Frequently I find long sleeves too short and the shirt isn’t long enough and was the case this time. I’d say I have longer than average arms. Needs a tall option. If you ever find sleeves too short or the shirt isn’t long enough it’s going to happen again with this shirt.

I ordered a L but then got XL.

Nice fabric good fit

I am 5'10", 175lb. Purchased a medium. Not a loose fit but not too tight which is what I was looking for. Fits well under a shirt or sweater. Sleeves shrunk a bit after washing but not too much. Collar is remaining tight after a few uses. I did notice some scratchiness in the collar that is not as noticeable after a couple of washings. Not a good as the old Duluth products but they are no longer available.

Order one size up and you are good to go.

I am not happy with mock turtleneck as it is made by polyster??? It is supposed to be made by cotton??? I would like to return it please let me know and I would like to order large size in black please....the reason I am returning it as it is too small
