Need to add the remote also.

The control was easy to swap out. The old unit had stopped controlling the temperature and eventually completely stopped working. This unit isn’t controlling the temperature, but the smoker is usable.

Item arrived perfect. Fit perfect. Works perfect.

Had an error for the first use. I don't remember what it was. Second use meat was undercooked. I realized that the temperature calibration is about 30-40 degrees lower than what the display says. I put an oven thermometer in to confirm. I have the remote control for my smoker. Doesn't appear to work with this unit. I'll go back to the OEM manufacturer for a replacement.

It was very simple to take off old one and plug in new. Only two wires to connect and back in business. Why buy a new smoker when all you need is a new control?
