I was searching for some nice setup blocks that were accurate and had the small increment markings on the side. Ordered a set of these, received them quickly. This is a very smart looking set of blocks, the orange color with black markings make it easy to read. The markings are all very sharp and clear. I measured every dimension of each block, and the accuracy surprised me. They are dead on, with only one being slightly undersized by a couple thousandths. Their customer service person, Nancy, quickly and kindly offered a solution, and took care of the issue.Each block is marked with its width, and also in small increments both horizontally and vertically. The sharp markings look to be laser engraved, and are easily read even to these old eyes. They came in a nice plastic box with a foam insert that keeps each block secure. You can carry this set around without fear of any coming loose and banging into each other.If you want an accurate set of aluminum setup blocks, I highly recommend this set. It was nice receiving a high quality product, and the excellent customer service is top notch.

Considering the low price I was hoping for 'close enough' accuracy but every dimension is dead-on where it should be. GREAT bang for the buck.Pros:-Super Accurate-No damage, clean, well machined-Nice, sturdy case keeps them safe-Additional ruled dimensions printed as well (use them like a ruler)Cons:-Would have been a bonus to have the decimal (0.5") dimensions printed as well as the fraction (1/2"), but that's a quick user upgrade with a sharpie. (I had trouble thinking of any cons)

Product has been offered to me for review. Great bar set for woodworking. Plastic case seems durable, has 2 latches, is compact. Insert foam is rigid type. Great for secure holding power but difficult to take bars out (a finger notch would help greatly). Case layout is compact with 2 columns of bars (tight spacing makes it slightly more difficult to take bars out). Anodized orange color is awesome for visibility (makes white numbers easy to read AND makes it very easy to find even the smaller bars on my white outfeed/work table).The hard anodized paint has a shimmering iridescence that has really grown on me. The surface is extremely durable - hard to scratch and is easy to clean. The white laser etched numbers are some of the larger size I've seen with setup bars - makes it easier on old eyes! Also, every bar has 2 sides with the numbers; even the 1/16 bar! Most other setup bars have numbers on one side only.My calipers are broken so I could not confirm the "2" & "3" for the 1/2/3 block. For all measurements, I used a Starrett #436 1 inch micrometer that was zero'd and referenced.No bar was unacceptable for woodworking use. The largest deviations were 3 mils. I measured at 3 points across each bar. All bars were consistently uniform (w/i 1 mil across length).I recently purchased another brand (it's black with white numbers). I favor its case and insert foam BUT hands down, I prefer the Nietra orange bars for easy to read use.I wish manufacturers would include two additional size bars - 5/8" and 1/32" (like a shim).Overall, I highly recommend the Nietra set. I may receive a set for free but after using it, I would not hesitate to buy it.

I measured all of the blocks in this kit with a set of high quality, calibrated calipers. They were all within the manufacture's given spec of +/- .001". I was actually sort of impressed. They look great too- all markings are clear and easy to read and the blocks look great. Unlike someone else that faulted the carrying case - I think it's a really nice case that looks like it will hold up well. The foam insert that organizes and separates the blocks inside is made of very dense, high quality foam too. I'd say looking around at other similar sets of aluminum setup blocks intended for woodworking these are a fantastic value. I might even buy a second set since the type of work I do having two of the same size is often handy. If these are the type of blocks you're looking for you can't go wrong buying them!

Nice bright, easy to see color. Nice case. Good enough accuracy for all but the most demanding jobs.The seller did not make the product properly ready for delivery. I'm sure a quick tape accross the blocks, or a rectangle of foam would have held them all in place. Instead, all the heavier blocks came loose from their cutouts and banged into each other making chips, scratches, and dents into the blocks I will be using most. There was also a mystery carpenters pencil in the mix. I wish they would have opened it to put in some tape or foam instead of pencil that has no real use for marking if you're after precision...and if a carpenter's pencil is something you use...I'm sure you already own way more than you will ever use in a lifetime.These would easily be a 5 star product if it wasn't for my 1,2,3 block being so banged and scratched. I'm not really a person who takes the time to return things...but I would easily purchase another set so I'd have a "good" set and a "use for anything" set if I could be assured the 2nd set would arrive undamaged.

Update. Have used these to set blade height on table saw. Wow, so much simpler and quicker than the depth gauge I have been using. Also have used them for my router table bit height, same results. Have seen other reviewers talking about accuracy, but for me as a woodworking hobbyist, they are perfect. Still working on how to use them with the drill press. I also really like the provided case where every piece has a dedicated spot. Should have got these years ago.

Used these from day one. Now I don’t know how I worked without them! High quality, polished blocks. Great price.

These setup blocks are fantastic. I measured every dimension for all 15 blocks with my digital calipers and every measurement was perfect. It came in a great carry case and a molded foam insert to ensure the blocks are not damaged in transport and while stored away. I look forward to using these blocks in my woodworking and tool setup.
