The Engineering Design Process: An Introduction for Mechanical Engineers

Reasonable price
It is a good book but I was hoping it would have detailed design examples to complement books such as Dieter's Engineering design. Now I understand that the book was planned for a specific course at Vancouver, but not exactly great for someone like me who could do with a aid at the professional level.

Insightful
Great book to follow while structuring a proper engineering design process. I would've liked a few more practical examples (perhaps with a complete project described / shown with technical information). Excellent guide for any designer and/or engineer, or for someone who is building up a solid process at an engineering firm.

Excellent Textbook
I am enrolled in 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering at UBC and this is the textbook we use for some of our courses. It is well written and provides ample comprehension and application questions, which makes it useful for studying. The chapter summaries also help to make sure you extracted all the important points from the chapter.
