1/2” PEX coupling is great to have on hand.
Bought a few of these to have on hand in case I needed to fix a water leak in my RV while in the road. High quality product that is important to have on hand to stop a water leak. Get a PEX crimping tool and rings to keep in tool box in case you need them.

brand name and at a great price compared to the big box store.i tested one of these and a shark bite ring clamp using a Iwiss clamp tool and it passed the no go test. the wife even crimped it and said that was easy!i wanted to have this as an emergency parts kit in case i get a water leak because our house is completely Pex.

CHECK THE SIZE
The diameter is a little under 7/8 . For a 1 inch pipe. your diagram show 1 inch.
