Love it, made modification
I got the wood/black model. I love it. I am old enough to have learned and mastered typing on old, clunky typewriters for two semesters in school. Yeah, a "19-" precedes my birthyear. I read the comments about how I-Pads tended to tip out, but I have a Samsung tablet and phone, so thought I would be okay. Nope, they both still fell off, sommersaulting over the support bar. It really needs to be improved, maybe with telescoping ability or removeability to be able to pack it easily for when you want to annoy everyone in the coffee shop with the archaic clicky-clacky. Okay, my Jack Russell jumping off my chair kind of helped it be unbalanced, but I'm not giving him up. And my husband pointed out the annoying clicky-clacky, but he wants one now, too. I wondered what I could do to beef up the support. I tried wire clips and a really cool, telescoping wire puller, but it was still not stable enough. So I went to Hobby Lobby, to see what they might have in the Models section, thinking that maybe train track pieces...Nothing. As we were leaving I found an self-adhesive wood and metal photo ledge functional wall decor (all the words on the package.) It is just 1/8 inch over the entire length of the back, but that's okay. It is narrow enough to not cover the switches and wire ports. And it has that "As Seen on TV" type of strong, instant adhesive that grabbed the surface of the keyboard and stays stuck, being usable right away. My dog even jumped off the chair and my tablet stayed in place. The first photo is of the visible part of the "photo shelf," after application, the second is my tablet (10ish inches) placed landscape. I am writing this using the keyboard and my tablet in portrait position, and it is not even threatening to become displaced. After sticking the thing onto the back on a semi-permanent basis (it will come off, it will just be slow to happen) I thought I likely could have used stickable Velcro, allowing for easy removal. I don't know how anyone can find the same thing to transform their own keyboard, but hey, something similar is out there. Probably. Maybe. I'm known to be a "lucky" shopper, finding what I want in the weirdest places. I thinking looking at "self-adhesive photo ledge" might be a good start. So what would have been a disappointed 3 1/2 star rating has now transformed easily into a five star one. Because the keyboard is GREAT. So cute and cool. Everyone that has seen it has wanted one.

Sooo cool!!! 🙌🏻✨
This is the COOLEST keyboard I have ever owned! First off, the black & wood is made by **7 Keys** for anyone confused by all the different listings with different brands. The white one is made by **Taiahiro.****PROS**The black/wood was my first one. This keyboard makes me feel like I've gone back in time to the 1930s every time I look at it, and because of the mechanical keys, it also sounds really cool--makes me feel like I'm typing on a typewriter! It adds a lot of fun to my work day. Put on some 1930s music or find an old 1930s radio broadcast on YT, and you're all set! Ha!**CONS** (that aren't really cons, ha!) It did take a day to get used to typing on the keys (I previously had flat keys), but now it's fine! They keys are very responsive. The keys are not backlit (the WHITE one is though and looks awesome!!), but a small tealight-sized battery-operated candle will take care of that.No sleep key, but just type "WIN + XUS," and you'll get the same result. The keys are raised, so if you like to rest your wrist while you type, you'll need a wrist rest. The GEVO 12" wrist pad is **perfect** for this keyboard. It's the same width as the keyboard, is super comfy, and looks great with it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088ZPQGJJ?psc=1&Happy Typing!!EDIT—10/12/22I’ve now had my first one for three months and still love it!! No issues at all. The *only* thing is sometimes I listen to podcasts while at my computer, and whenever I type, it’s hard to hear the podcast without having to turn it up more. 🤪 Overall, this keyboard is a gem!EDIT—06/18/23 **KEYS TURNING PINK**I've now had the black one for almost a year. I use it almost daily (I work from home), and it's still fantastic! The only thing is that the metal on some of the keys is turning pink. It doesn't bother me (makes it look more vintage in fact!, but I was a little concerned about what the material is and any health aspects. I contacted the seller, and they got back to me right away letting me know it was just moisture from my hands oxidizing the metal and that it doesn't contain any toxic ingredients, such as lead. ***I did some research, and two metals that will turn pink are iron & copper.

Very nice looking keyboard
Let's face it, the main reason to buy this keyboard is it looks cool. If you want a portable bluetooth keyboard there's about a zillion options. They will out perform tis keyboard on battery life, portability, rugednessz, and ease of use. The second factor to consider is price. There are a lot of vintage typewriter keyboards on the market, and some of them are much miore expensive than this.So taking these into consideration:1. It looks great. Can't complain about that.2. The price is low. Check that box off.3. It goes without saying, it has to work as a keyboard. It does.Additional good points: Easy to charge, mac / pc layouts available with teh flip of a switch, the volume knob is pretty cool, the carriage return to change hte lighting pattern, also a nice touch. Some bad points: Feels a bit cramped. The cariage return bar is too cvlose to the space bar. The "Command" key (also labeled ALT) is in an odd place. I prefer to remap the Windows key as Command, but what can you do but just get used to it. The shipping takes forever so be prepared for that. All in all it is a good keyboard. There are some downsides of course but because of the price, thumbs up. It does everything you expect it to. If you are a speed typist, you won't be with this keyboard.
