Incredible for the price - so many features!
This device is the heart of my home network and cybersecurity lab. It isn't a firewall, it isn't a router but the feature list goes on and on and on. VLANs work just as they should. I've paired mine with a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter for LAN routing and the result isn't far off what a large office could run on. This will do for me until I inevitably upgrade to 10Gbs, if that becomes affordable and devices can support all of these features.. High End Quality in a small package and at a good price.

Reliable and Easy to install
It's so easy to have wifi on everything. I have half my devices on WiFi and have to restart the router frequently. If you ever get buffering when someone walks into home and there phone and tablet in there bag grabs all the bandwidth and your television starts buffering. Most domestic wifi routers can have this issue. I have moved most of my Internet usage to Ethernet leaving wifi for phones and tablets.I went for 16 ports to allow for future growth

Keeps loosing connection.
Had this a few months now and not long after adding it to my network I started getting random issues where every PC/Device on the network would loose connection to the internet, all lights flashing as if it's working but nothing can connect to anything which can seemingly only be resolved by rebooting the device. Followed advice from tp-link website/community support with no success.Ended up replacing with an unmanaged switch and had no issues since so guess some issue with the managed features / firmware on the device that can make it unusable for some people. Firmware itself doesn't appear to have any updates since release where other geographies have had updates but site makes it clear you shouldn't use other firmware updates outside EU so didn't try that. Personally would avoid this device unless you really need VLAN features & have patience if the issue does occur.

Very good Switch
Very easy to install and create a login. Once installed it is basically plug and play, power it up and just plug all the network cables in and you're set. I might also note that this unit was replacing a 16 port Netgear Switch which is only a few years old. This TP link switch is identical apart from the ventilation grills, which are tiny square holes instead of the slots on the Netgear even the power socket and mounting holes are in the exact same place. The size is also exactly the same down to the mm.

Good little SOHO switch which supports 802.1q or port-based VLAN and monitoring.
The single-row design of this switch with the power connector on the opposite side means you need a fair bit of room for it but on the other hand makes monitoring the status LEDs and, if wall-mounted, routing the cables easier. Without a fan, it doesn't need to be hidden away to suppress noise - it runs silently. The 802.1q VLAN works well to reduce inter-switch cabling and to break it up into multiple switches. I have it sharing VLANs with a number of similar Netgear GS108Ev3 & GS308E switches without a problem.A small niggle when using 802.1q is that there is no way to specify which VLAN the admin interface and its DHCP client should use, so it's easy to lose contact with web interface once configured & in place. (The Netgear devices have the same problem.)
