These are great for using in our hallway. Sometimes it’s dark after all the lights have been turned out. Being able to just wave your hand in front of the light, lights up the hallway.

The media could not be loaded.  The light over my stove quit working and since it is connected to the microwave which works, I needed an alternative light source. These are ok but miss the mark in many ways. The "metal" discs that you adhere to the surface were all warped. None of them laid flat and even though I cleaned the surfaces thoroughly the 3m backing did not stick. And the metal of these discs felt more like a very very think sheet of metal over a piece of paper on the 3m sticky back. It was not an actual metal disc. The magnet itself is not strong. I went to plan B and stuck them directly to the microwave underside and a little bump and they fall off. This poses a problem since I have them over a gas range. Next comes to taking the back off and putting it on. It does not thread well. I had to really muscle it to get the backs off to put the batteries in. One of them I had to get help because I just couldn't do it since it came cross threaded. Then getting it lined up to twist the backs back on, oy, it's a headache. It does have a nifty little hanger on the back where you can place it on a nail or hook. The motion sensor is not the best either. I had to get relatively close to set them off. The light output was decent though they will not turn on at all if the kitchen lights are on, so it defeats the whole reason for me to put them up. I will try other locations in the house to see if I like them better so far these are not really measuring up to other motion lights that we have. For these I would say keep looking. I do give them three stars for multiple ways to hang them, having motion sensors, and they should in theory last longer than rechargeable ones since they have batteries.

These lights, although not terribly bright, will add some light to a dark closet. You'll be able to distinguish between navy blue and black clothes. I had to use two, one one each side of the door. You'll need to wave your hand in front of them to activate them for a few seconds. A slow wave. There is a magnet with adhesive on one side that you stick to the wall. The light itself also has a magnet allowing you to just slap it to magnet on the wall. The good is that it makes it easy for battery changes (3 AAA). The bad is that the magnets are not very strong. One of my lights slides to the bottom of the magnet. Just a tap or brush against it by an article of clothing will knock it off. Bottom line - yes they work, but I don't feel that they're any better than the dollar store varieties.

These require 3 AAA batteries but put out lots of light. The motion detection works well. We put them in the hallway for our kids at night. Overall I would recommend.

I got these to add light to a closet in my house that didn't have one. They're great. Easy to install and run on batteries so no need to run wires. The motion sense works great for easy on and off. I may pick up a few more for a couple of other spots.
