ElementElectronics Smart TV Remote for Element's Smart TV Model

It came late but it’s Brand new and it works. If it hadn’t come late I would have given it five stars

I was directed by Element customer service to purchase this remote from Amazon for my new Smart TV model #E4SFT5517 since they are currently out of stock of a replacement remote at their location. The remote itself looks exactly like the one I was replacing, which I was happy about thinking soon I'll be able to control my smart features on my TV again. The remote itself after adding batteries did immediately turn on the TV but would do nothing else. Not even turn the TV off. I tried at all different angles and distances from the sensor, replaced the batteries and the issue remained the same. The remote turns the TV on but sadly no other function would work. This was returned. I purchased the GE universal remote and that works beautifully with my TV and half the cost!

Works ok. Alot of buttons aren't recognized by the tv. Also likes to eat batteries. Not great, but what am I gonna do, right? Cant find an original remote anywhere.

Only the power on button works. Does not turn off and no other buttons work. I have tried multiple remotes from Amazon, and none worked. I finally found the correct one on a different site.
