I purchased this for my medium dog who was always on top of the couch looking out the window. I was afraid it wouldn’t be sturdy enough to support her getting on and off (she’s 45 lb). However, upon putting it together, I trust the quality of the build and materials for dogs her size. It looks very nice with the rest of the furniture and she seems to be enjoying it every day.

It takes a bit of time to put together, but at least it is easy to do so. I didn't have any issues with holes not lining up correctly or anything like that.My dogs use this for several hours every day since getting it. I put a blanket and pillow on top, just to add some comfort considering the metal rails. The rails are a good thing, since one of my dogs often sleeps up there. Don't have to worry about anyone falling off.My lil guys have gotten the hang of using the stairs too. At first they were trying to just jump off the top.I had an ottoman for them to sit on at the window before this, but they couldn't lay down on it and look out at the same time, since it was too short. This has been a fantastic solution. It also has storage in the stairs for dog toys!

This elevated dog bed is perfect for pets who want to be elevated. We bought this in 2022 for our cocker spaniel who’s 35 lbs. so she could look out of the windows in my office and enjoy the sunshine. After one year, the bed remains sturdy, solid & heavy, which is the most important feature – it doesn’t shake or wobble at all. The steps aren’t too tall or steep, so her short legs can easily go up & down the stairs. The nonslip pads on the steps help & don’t slip when our dog takes the steps. That said, the pads but aren’t adhered by any adhesive, so the pads could be removed & replaced with something else, or you could adhere the pads to the steps yourself if you prefer. The elevated bed was simple to assemble, came with instructions, and the measurements shown in the product photos are accurate. One person could easily assemble in less than 30 minutes. We like the storage area under the bed, which we use to keep a tub full of dog clothes. As for the top sitting level, the bed comes with a cheap & thin brown cushion (we keep the brown cushion under the tub of clothes). Instead of using that cushion, we use a Snoozer dog bed that we already had, which fit perfectly on the top level and is more comfortable (& attractive) for our dog. We also put a king-size pillow on the window sill so she can get more sun, but without the pillow, the top level is still large enough so that she can sit & nap comfortably. The storage baskets under the steps are a nice feature, too.

This platform is well made. It does take some time to put it together but it goes together accurately. My only concern is that the carpet pads that cover the steps are made of a slippery material. Also the sticky pads given to secure the pads to the wood steps aren't large enough to firmly secure the pad without it moving. Since the steps are rather steep, this causes difficulty for my dog to climb them. But once he gets up to the top, he loves to sit with a clear view looking out the window, and to relax in the there in the sun.

I put it together by myself over a period of an hour or so. Not the easiest to do alone but it was workable. A 2nd pair of hands to hold things would've been good though. The mat that came with it is on the bottom shelf now as I put 1 of my dog's beds on the top. The little drawers are great for storing her items, such as grooming kit, clothing, etc. She loves sitting on it and watching the world go by. Great value in my opinion & hreat quality!

My dog always laid on the back of the couch looking out the window. I had to move it, which meant she could no longer look out. It was one of her favorite things to do, so I got her this perch. Voilà! Problem solved! She loves it! It was pretty easy to put together, considering it was my first time doing anything like that. I also like the fact that it has storage space. This was a great purchase!

It is very sturdy and steps are nicely spaced except for the top step up to the platform , it is too high for short leg dogs. My girl is just able to make it by jumping up. If she ever falls, I am not sure she will continue using the steps but I will figure something out. I had looked at this product for months before buying went it had a $30 discount. Assembly was a little long doing by myself, would be better with 2 people. Very sturdy.

Ordered two of these. It's sturdy and as advertised. After building the first one, I chose not to keep the 2nd one and requested a return. Seller did not post a return policy and requires buyer to pay full return shipping cost!
