This is a secure yet stylish little safe. Does the job and holds quite a bit. Easy set up. Good purchase.

If you look at the reviews for this safe, you'll see most people are highly satisfied but a small percentage are unhappy. I believe this may reflect issues in distribution.When I first received my safe, it didn't reflect what you see in the high ratings. However, the company was great to work with and sent me a replacement quickly and painlessly -- easily five star service.As for the safe, it's solid enough. At this price point, you can't expect thick hardened steel that weighs a ton. But even something like that can be defeated by destroying the floor/wall, taking the whole safe, and working on it elsewhere.Overall, a solid product and a good value supported by great service.

The whole inside is felt lined. It feels solid and its simple to use. I purchased this for my daughter to use while at college so she can keep her personal stuff safe and Private in her room. The texture is nice and does not feel like it will peel off or scratch easily. Its a bit larger than the useless one at Harbor Freight and built WAY better. Money well spent IMO.

Ease of setup.. storage capacity and lock quality

We originally bought this safe to keep our teenage son from getting into things he shouldn’t. It has been really great, but the admin code is a glaring issue. We set our code like normal, which has served just fine. However, our son managed to scour the internet to find that there is in fact a second code (referred to as “admin code” in the instruction manual) that we had not been made aware of and therefore allowed him to get into the safe without our knowledge (and without knowing the passcode we set). Now that we know, the problem has been fixed. Just be aware that there is a second code that can easily be googled and used to get into these safes if you don’t do your due diligence and change it.
