Haven't been able to try it yet due to the lack of time and motivation but when I got it I thought it all looked really neat and pretty and couldn't wait to use it. I mainly got it because of the feather but was gonna practice with the other pens first. When I looked though the glass pen was broken :/ I don't blame the company more so than the people who handled it though.

I got this because it looked like it offered a good selection of attractive pens and a variety of nibs. While the pens definitely hold nibs and are usable, the nibs themselves are completely unusable for traditional calligraphy. The metal is so stiff that the tines never separate without tearing the paper or bending the tines themselves. DO NOT GET THIS FOR BEGINNERS AS A STARTER SET. Only get this if you like the pen themselves.

This arrived broken. I returned it and received another set strewn apart in the packaging with yet another broken calligraphy pen. Returned permanently.

When this arrived the glass one was broken in half with the diamonds every where. My husband loved this kit as it was a gift for him. I was very disappointed when I could not replace it
