Xerox VersaLink C400/DN Color Printer, Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready

I just bought a new Xerox C400 color laser printer & wanted it to be wireless. I used the Xerox wireless component. It's tiny: only about 1 1/2" x 1". I removed a small plastic door on the back of the printer & snapped this into the USB slot behind the tiny door I removed –– a plastic clip also snaps into a hole to keep it snugly in place. Then I plugged in a USB cable just below to allow a hardlink, too. I turned on the printer & followed the automatic steps the printer led me through on the printer's control screen. It asked if I wanted to use just wifi or both, so I selected both. It then asked which wireless network was mine & asked my password. After I entered those things, it told me to restart the printer, which I did.Upon restart, I selected a document on my iPhone & told it to print. It asked me to choose the printer I had just set up, which I did, then told it to print. It printed instantly. I then opened a document on my desktop computer & instantly printed that through the USB connection. I then went 60 feet away & easily printed from another desktop computer & another iPhone using wifi!The printer came with all the software preinstalled, so I didn't need to use the CD disc that came with it.It couldn't have been easier! Xerox really has their act together... as easy to use their printers as Apple makes their computers & phones.

Very solid color printer. I have installed half a dozen of these in the office and all have been working flawlessly for over a year. Fast printing, vibrant colors. would buy again.

Never wakes from sleep to print. I have to physically wake it, then it ignores print requests and I have to physically restart it to finally get it to print. Buy something else, unless you don’t mind always having to restart your printer to get it to print.Worthless! Save your money and buy anything else!Oh, and print quality is not as good as the ink jet printer this replaced. Once it starts printing though, it is quick. I thought being from Xerox it would be high quality. My bad.Update: about 5 months into owning this piece of garbage it started having a fusor fault. So, the procedure to print one page became: Restart printer, print one page. Restart printer, print another page, etc. we have not even gotten 1/2 a ream of paper through this piece of junk and it is useless!Oh, and as of today, it wouldn't print anything. Save your money, this is junk!

Despite the rough shipping it seems to be working just fine! The box was all tattered and looked as though it had been through the mill. It was not even closed or secured. In addition, it was delivered upside down. Unable to load images.After about 3 years, I still love my printer. When purchasing, be sure to buy the remote printer accessory if you want to print without being connected. It’s would be well worth it. Haven’t had to purchase printer cartridges as of yet. I don’t print everyday, but would have thought it would be low by now. Great printer! Highly recommend for anyone with a business or one who works from home. Very dependable.

This is the best color from a Laser Printer I have ever seen! I got this for doing Church Bulletins. We do about 30 a week and so far have had no problems. We've only had it a few of months but this thing rocks! Getting started was a bit tricky, be aware that this printer wants to use the top Paper feeder instead of the bottom tray, even if you assign the bottom tray as the default. At least that's the problem we had. But once you load it, the resulting prints are so nice that that little inconvenience is hardly worth mentioning.

Got this because I need to print a lot and often. First problem was it refused to work without a wifi adaptor.Fine spent the extra $50 to get that. [which lasted 3 months and had to be replaced]. After 8 months of working just fine it started acting up. Printings thousands of pages of random script, refusing to connect to computer, or just flat out not printing anything. Did every trouble shoot that is available from the company and it still wont work.consSet up was annoying. Especially if you are unaware you needed that wifi adaptor. It NEVER connected to the wifi, i had to have the adaptor AND a cord to computer for it to print.Logs you out after a few minutes despite changing the settings.Jammed every 200 pages or soJust stops workingdespite being compatible it killed 2 USB ports on my computerpros:when it works it works greatthe laser printer was originally cheaper than buying new ink every other week.In the end I have this giant heavy pile of jink I can't use and can't get rid of. Highly disappointed in this overall. I needed a small business printer and got...junk. Either cover yourself and get the return insurance or find something better is my advice.

Fast. Print quality is incredible. I have put 1000’s if prints through this printer and the quality is consistent as good as the 1st print. Xerox has made a champ here.

Fast and printing on both sides of paper is excellent. An occasional messed up color or dirty print can occur but the pros better than cons. The toners in original shipment quickly run out so it was good to order replacement. so far so good.
