Strong product
Not as useful as I thought for a sailboat

Safety First, Friends!
A house near us caught fire and made me take the ability to exit quickly much more seriously. This easily hooks on to a lot of things and feels really secure and strong. I hope we never have to experience using it for real but I’m happy we have it.

This rope ladder works
This rope ladder works for our 2nd story window. We happen to have a sturdy wooded picket-fence style barrier at the base of the window which makes it easy to secure the top of the ladder. But if we didn't have that barrier, I would have had to figure out how secure the top of the ladder. I have had to come up with a weather-proof flexible container for the ladder, so it can be in place to unfold at all times if needed. It would be nice if the ladder came with such a container and a few pictures and instructions of possible ways to secure the top of the ladder for those who need to plan that.

Safety first- QUALITY EXCELLENT
Our family has seen some traumatic fires and such so when we moved I insisted we have one. The quality is INSANELY good! I’m so impressed. Hope we never have to use it but love knowing we have one to keep my family safe!

Not safe. Don't buy
As a safety item, there should be extra safety factors accounted for. I hate the fact that the yellow fiberglass spins. I don't feel safe or secure as far as hand placement goes. Going up didn't seem like a problem, going down is scary. First time using it, one of the fiberglass sticks broke. I am nowhere close to the max weight limit of this product and it broke. I noticed fiberglass dust being blown off when climbing which almost got into my eyes. Which is also not good. I do NOT recommend for safety or for kids

Not sure on this choice
The first time I use this ladder was about 6 months ago. It was easy to put together everything that seemed good and sturdy. Then we did a practice run on it in case we had to use it in an emergency today and the rung could not handle 300 lb of weight. The rope may be good to 2000 lb, but the resin rungs are not so safe.

Good rope ladder
This ladder feels very sturdy and is pleasant to use. My application is to get down into a creek bed. The rungs have a good amount of grip.
