These fishing pliers are so nice! My husband likes to fish at the beach so his old pliers rusted. These have held up great and look the same as when we bought them (rust free)! Lightweight and easy to use. I thought they might be uncomfortable to use since there wasn’t any sort of grip or cushion but they feel fine and my husband hasn’t complained.

Super durable and sharp cutters. Great for cutting braid. The tip works well to open split rings. Positive locking jaws for when you sheath the pliers works great. My only advice is to up grade the split rig and D ring on the pliers lanyard. They are complete junk. For this reason only I’m giving the pliers 4 stars

Great pliers at a reasonable price; the best I've found at the $20-40 price point. I've tried several under $20 and none hold up. Would not compare these to the $100+ Gerber Magniplier or $300+ Van Staals which I have, but under a hundred bucks they hold their own very well. I've had one pair of these for 2 years, and just got a second pair. Just returned a pair of Piscifuns that many people have given high ratings, but mine arrived with one of the decorative side pieces already unglued, and the nose pieces mis-aligned. These come with a quality hard sheath that looks like it will hold up, contrary to one reviewer who did not get a sheath with his. These cut any line, including small 10# braid with ease. Split ring nose works, but if I wanted to change out a bunch of hooks I would go to a dedicated split ring tool like those from Toit or Texas Tackle. The locking feature keeps them closed in the sheath, which many others like the Piscifun do not. Buy these first, and you will not be sorry.

These are well built and work great

I've owned these for a year now and use them exclusively in saltwater. I've had them out fishing at least 100 times in the surf and kayak fishing in North Carolina. Generally speaking, they are great. They hold up to saltwater reasonably well, but the locking latch froze in the locked position. I was able to free it up with a lubricant and much pressure. After working it back and forth a bit it's operational, but not as smooth as when I first bought them. The cutters are a little dull now compared to brand new, but they still cut braid. Sometimes they shred the braid vs. a clean cut as when new. I'd buy them again.

Almost bought the red handled brand but these are just as nice or nicer at half the price. Quality feel. The cutter cuts braid good, not as good as scissors, but as good as can be expected. I've used these on 2 fishing trips so far and I highly recommend them.

Dies Zange vereint alles was man so beim Spinnfischen braucht. Abhaken, Bleie montieren und entfernen und selbst zum schneiden der Schnur ist was vorgesehen. Allerdings muss ich sagen zum entfernen von Haken bei kleineren Fischen ist sie leider ein wenig ungeeignet.
