What I wanted
Cheaper than another brand. This fitting made my job much easier when installing a washing machine outlet. I cut copper pipes that I extended to pex. No sweating and easy slide on with the pex also. I also found out the little half-moon blue clip easily takes the fitting off if needed.

How simple these fitting are to use
These fittings are so easy to use compared to the ones that you need crimpers to crimp the rings to the pipe and fittings. If you make a mistake all that you need to do is use the removal tool and make your adjustments. In the first photo you could see how a professiona repipe installer did it back in the early 2000.After removing ths clouster, it took me one hour to complete what is pictured in photo 2.Note: The Sungator fittings I used are half the cost compared to Lowes or Home Depot. Thanks

Comparable to “shark bites”
Replaced all of our old pvc with pex. Way more cost effective to buy these and have shipped in a day than to pay twice as much at the local hardware store. Been a yr since the first purchase with no issues. Even when the temps got down to -20 !

You get what you pay for… Not good quality
Not easy to use, have to push all your body weight in to get it to connect .All the connections failed on a positive temp shower valve. Had to replace with namebrand push connect fittings. Not good for your reputation as a professional. Not recommended for a homeowners.
