are the tips magnetic?

The cap that holds the tips is magnetic but the tips themselves are not, but are held and very securely into the shaft By some other means

Does anyone make a magnetic bit for this screwdriver? what is the bit size? i am thinking of a magnetic bit similar to linux tech tips' magnetic bit.

I have not seen one either. Looking, if find one will update my answer.

All the bits fall out, is there a way to tighten them or clip them in? There’s no directions.

Simply press the bit in. Is their a retaining clip in the groove in the head of the driver or is the clip missing? That is the only thing I can thing of that could cause this issue.

What is the shank width? Is it 1/4 inch?

Mine measures 3.92 mm across the bit shank. Hope that helps.
