This is a very nice tumbler. Not like the flimsy toy ones. The barrel is made of thick rubber, not thin plastic and is very solid. I really like that it will hold 2 1/2 pounds of rock instead of the 1 pound for other tumblers. Setting the timer and speed is very easy. The rocks obviously make noise as they tumble but the motor itself is very quiet. The rocks that came with the kit are of high quality and there is just enough grit to do each step. The enclosed manual is simple to understand and very helpful.The package gives you the option to get additional belts for free. If you contact the company you will immediately hear from customer service. They seem very attentive. I received my free belts in a timely fashion and although I have not had any problems I am confident that their customer service will be there to help if I need them.I am very happy with my purchase.

So far, this has been a really great tumbler and runs perfectly. I like the timers and speed settings. The tumbler is as quiet as a rock tumbler can be, which if you've ever had one, you know they do make some noise.The company sent extra belts free of charge, instructions for how to get the extra belts included in the kit!The instructions were good and the tumbler is easier to open than my older tumbler as the barrel is soft and bendable. No leaks and handles 3/4 full load of rocks and grit with no problem.I'm through with my 2nd round and the tumbled rocks look good so far. I did not use the rocks that came with the tumbler as I have a bunch of my own already but there was a good selection included with this tumbler. I'm also not using the grit that came with the tumbler as I use a higher grade purchased from another company that has aluminum oxide 500 for the 3rd step rather than silicon carbide that's included with this tumbler.Overall, I'd recommend this tumbler as a good starter tumbler for adults or children interested in the wonderful world of rock tumbling!

The media could not be loaded. So far so good! I have set it up, and started on an appropriate stage for rocks I’ve already been working on. (My prior machine broke)This machine so far seems durable and the size is perfect for smaller areas. It is a lightweight machine, way more easy to move than my other machine. It was on sale so a great value for my money.So far it functions and spins well. It sounds much quieter than my prior machine.This would be a great starter rock tumbling machine for kids and adults alike, looking to have fun while tumbling and polishing rocks you’ve collected!

This tumbler while well reviewed, well priced, and easy to use, may not be worth your time or money. Between my sister and I we have now owned 3 of them. By about the 6 month mark of use, all 3 abruptly quit working. They refuse to spin, even with an empty barrel, despite being well maintained. I would not recommend this tumbler. The company does not respond to messages or emails. The links on their website do not work. Their phone number is text only and also gets no response.There are other great tumblers out there that can be found for not much more money that will last for years.Amazon did try to help me connect with the company and when that did not work Amazon allowed me to return the product for a refund, even though it was well past the return window.EDIT: After posting this review and working with Shaving to return the tumbler, the company reached out to me. They told me that they had not recurved any of my communications Anna's ordered to send me a brand new tumbler even though I was able too get most off my money back from Amazon. They also reached out to my sister to take care of hers as well. They were very kind and polite to me. I just got the new tumbler last night. Here's hoping for better luck this round 😊

I don't use this for rock tumbling right now. I'm using it to polish copper jewelry. I use stainless steel shot and the copper comes out AMAZING! Shiny and and burrs and scratches are gone. The tumbler is quiet due to the rubber barrel. It comes with a collection of decent sized rocks for tumbling, packets of tumbling grit, ceramic cylinder filler media, extra belts, and a very comprehensive, easy to understand guide/instruction manual. I had a question about how the machine was running and received an timely email, same day, explaining and answering my question/concern. I'm EXTREMELY happy I purchased this brand and model of tumbler. In my opinion it's a VERY good value.

Tumbler works great. It comes with two different kinds of belts, one of which is less superior and didn’t last a week each. I was unaware of this and contacted KomeStone customer support via email regarding my issue. Customer service has been amazing! They were super fast to respond explaining the different kinds of belts included. They sent me replacement belts at no cost. My tumbler has been running for nearly 5 weeks non stop with no motor issues. The stronger belt has been on for two weeks and going strong. You can’t get a better tumbler for the price! It comes with an assortment of rocks and a two year warranty through the company also.
