Excellent Product & Seller
I have to say everything from the product to the seller was great. I ordered the bed for my mom and she loves it. I did have to add a 3" topper to the matress but she raves how comfortable it is. It was delivered by FedEx very well packed in a crate. Very well made and very easy assembly, it is heavy so it required 2 people to bring it in. We had 1 issue where the bed tray was missing but I messaged the seller and was responded to immediately (on the weekend) and it was promptly sent to me on Monday. It was quite a pleasure dealing with them.

Short mattress.
Bought the bed for my husband. He has metastatic prostate cancer. It’s in his hips and femurs and he was starting to have trouble getting in and out of bed on his own. The side rails and being able to lower the bed are very helpful. The mattress comes with a substantial zippered waterproof cover. It came with 2 fitted sheets but they are the standard type stretchy hospital sheet and he's not fond of that material. The mattress is only 33” wide and 73” long which is smaller than a twin. He is only 5’7. I think it might be an issue for a taller person. The mattress is only 4.7” thick so we added a 2” foam topper and a quilted mattress pad cover. Back to the sheets- I did order a couple sets of twin sheets but they have quite a lot of overhang. I did buy some sheet straps and they seem to help. I looked for sheets closer to the dimensions of the mattress but haven't found any yet.Regarding delivery. When the delivery company called to set up a date the woman I spoke with asked me how long our driveway is (90 feet) and said they would send a smaller truck and bring it up to the house and put it in the garage. On delivery day they sent a semi. We live in a rural sub at the end of a cul-de-sac but there was plenty of room for it and the guy could have backed It up our driveway. But the driver said it was sent out as a curbside delivery and that if they send a smaller truck there is an additional charge which was never mentioned to me. He did have a power hand truck and he did unload it and bring it up the driveway but didn't seem happy about it. So make sure when you schedule delivery to be clear about the details! It comes 95% assembled so it’s in a large wooden crate. They sent me a video to show how to get it in the house and room it’s going in.We've had it for 2 weeks and my husband seems happy with it so far. I just wish I could find some better fitting sheets.

Long side rails thin mattress
The bed arrived in a very large box and is quite heavy but in good condition. Assembly was not difficult and we were initially concerned about the electronics because it took quite a few minutes for it to begin working. Once it did though it seems to be working properly. It is a very sturdy unit and well built. There are two drawbacks we had to take one of the side rails off because getting on and off the bed and be very uncomfortable. The mattress is barely high enough to provide adequate cushioning when sliding over the rails getting out of the bed. I can see there is a need for improvement of these rails. Yeah their option I see is having a mattress that is thick enough or high enough to figure out scraping over those rails getting out of the bed. Overall I rated this a four And would have read it in a five headed not been for this one issue.

Quality counts
I unboxed it right outside my front door, we have "a" front door so I layed it on its side and slid it on the cardboard then to big throw pillows once inside on our tile floor. 2 people would be ideal. It took some wrangling. Works great and came earlier than expected. Quality parts, quiet operation.

Great bed. You'll Need Help
The bed is great. It looks good, is well made, the railings easily fold down, the remote control attaches to the side, and the mattress appears to be comfortable. It's everything else that could be a problem. 1st, delivery man refused to bring it in building. He left it outside blocking the delivery door entrance, NOT okay. 2nd, this came in huge wooden crate. The size of a couch. It took my 3 adult sons, a screw driver, hammer, wire cutters, and box cutter to free it. However, the bed did arrive undamaged because it was so well packaged. 3rd, this isn't going to slide through your standard doorway, which means you need strength to lift it and turn it on it's side and carry it in. If you don't carry it, it'll scratch up your floors. 4th, NO INSTRUCTIONS! My sons managed to find a video on how to do it. The video lacked close up shots. The side railings were challenging. Luckily, one of my guys has natural mechanical aptitude. Bottom line, you'll need help getting it into the house, getting it out of the crate, getting it through the bedroom doorway and maybe you'll need help putting it together. Then you need to figure out how to dispose of that huge wooden crate, the big box, and all the other packaging. I hope this helps my fellow caregivers prepare.

Definitely recommend
My son is disabled and cannot sit up by himself. This bed gives him independence so he can sit up in bed without asking for help. Also it has immediately relieved his back pain. I read on here some people needed a mattress pad but he says the mattress is perfectly comfortable. We did need help from our neighbors to carry it inside because it is so heavy but we were expecting that. (I mean it’s a BED). It comes practically fully assembled so not much to put together. When the side bars are down it doesn’t even look like a hospital bed so it looks good as well. Highly recommend!
