I’ve tried several different brands of these over the last few years with my old iPhone 7 Plus and still on 8 plus And some of them haven’t worked at all, Some I had to go into my settings, and set up and turn on ethernet, Others would work intermittently Or I had to mess around to get them to work And this one I plugged it in and immediately was connected, Didn’t have to do or change anything in the phone, and Though it’s only been a couple hours, it hasn’t shut off or cut off like others have.Does not charge phone as I thought it would So if you have a partially charged phone or are on it for an extended length of time you’re going to have to unhook it, charge your phone and then plug it back into use it.Otherwise …Adapter actually works extremely well and as soon as I plugged it in, it worked immediately without me having to change any settings in my phone.

Works well for those who have a hard time with Wi-Fi energy

The connection was unstable, constantly dropped in and out, and after just a few days of use the cable shows no signs of life. Tried with multiple phones to no avail. My best guess is that the lightning connector is cheaply made like a lot of off brand lightning cables on amazon. This product is e-waste and should be avoided.

Easy to use and works great

Due to a poor Apple iPad design, this only works 1-way. That is, all receives and sends must be done from the iPad side. iPad does not allow other computers in (ie: Windows) because it does not support SMB access! From the iPad, you can get a file from Windows, and send a file to Windows, but you can't do that from the Windows side.Barring that, this adapter works to communicate between the two (or more w/a router) computers. No internet is needed.

Excellent Ethernet Adapter for my Ipad.

I have to keep replacing it periodically or I would have given it 5 stars.

Handy little plug in for devices with no cell service. Hook it up to your ipad and get fast internet.
