As someone who has, on more than one occasion had to go to the sorting office and pay the extra postage for what turns out to be a card that would have cost far less than the postage, I am aware of how frustrating this is, and am also aware that those that send the items have no idea they would be causing this problem as I assume the majority of us just sorta gauge by eye and think 'that's just an 'ordinary' size letter' when no it isn't. I'm not just talking about length and width here - a folded four page letter and a card wouldn't fit through the normal letter size, so this item, for one who corresponds regularly by old fashioned letters, is extremely useful. The material of the product means that its easily bendable so if you placed a parcel into it, if you did it with too much force it will fit and you may think its the right size when in fact it is not

This unit is extremely useful - for card makers especially! I became fed up having stamps in my purse but still having to go down to the local PO just to check if my card was a small or large one! Card makers- if you send cards through the post, get one of these if you don’t already possess one!

I've been searching post offices, stationeries for a large letter template for quite a long time, mainly because I'm always concerned that the recipients may have to pay the extra charge before they can recieve their item. After purchasing this item I can now put my mind at ease. Its made from sturdy perspex and hopefully it should last for years.
