This works.. how?
I bought these on a whim to play with on a commercial grade NVR and IP cameras. I was able to use one existing CAT6 pull and tap a second camera off it. I was very surprised they worked exactly as advertised. The cameras I used were 15W POE vari-focal bullet cameras (one 2MP, one 5MP) with IR and they had full functionality.

Don't waste your time!!!
I'm a professional CCTV installer. I used other brands that works but don't waste your time on this one. Now I have to run a separate Ethernet cable to get the last IPC working smh!!! PS The status light on PoE port is not even flashing and the RJ45 male jack only has 4-wires instead of all 8.

An excellent way to wired IP cameras
I'd been having issues with the wireless connection of the IP cameras in my surveillance system. So, I decided to wired them using Ethernet cables. And these SgueSikr Ethernet cable combiners had made the connection easier, and steady.I like that two cameras can be connected with a single long Ethernet cable, and a pair of these Ethernet combiners. However, two Ethernet ports in the POE switch, or modern, are needed for connecting the cameras using these Ethernet combiners. One port for each camera.

Allows us to do long runs of cable and split for cameras
We have several areas where we wanted two cameras and only had a single ethernet wire run. These worked great for us to add another camera and not run 200 feet of new wire. Note that you split on both ends so you will still need 2 POE ports at your DVR end. Not a big deal for us.
