Just a few very minor issues
I bought this for my son's 28th birthday, he just opened it yesterday, so I can't speak for the longevity of the products, at this time. The bow looks nice and appears to be strong, but only time will tell. However, there were a few minor things -▪︎ 1) there was no screw/nut to attach the arrow rest, so he can't use that piece.▪︎ 2) the listing says the arrow rest comes with "2 pcs brush replacements", we didn't see those either, maybe they are hidden with the screw to attach it, lol▪︎ 3) The finger guard, I'm not sure how to describe that issue - I'll try this way, i dont know if its supposed to be double sided, with the side you put against your fingers, and the side you put on the bow string, being attached to one another... or... if the 2 sides are supposed to be separated (mot sewn or glued together).. thats how they came. When my son went to shoot the first arrow (btw, this isn't his first bow, and he has archery experience), because the finger guard is 2 separate pieces, when he let go of the string, the piece on the side with the string, stayed on the string, it didn't move with his fingers, and a caused a very slight disturbance in the string release.▪︎ 4) the cool, handy multi tool that was included, is shaped in a way that makes it very difficult to get the smaller Allen keys/wrenches out. The casing of the multi tool, tapers towards the end, where the hinges to the wrenches are. So, you can't have them all, or mostly all, out/open at the same time.. BUT, you kind of need to, because it's really hard to get your fingers to the smaller ones, if you don't open/pull out the larger ones first (I hope that made sense, lol). In doing so, the pieces separating the keys/wrenches, on the hinges, cracked - hence, you can't have them all out, nor not have them all out▪︎ 5) The first arrow he shot (with the finger guard issue), the nock (?) came off▪︎ 6) not an issue, but more of an inquiry- there's a coiled piece of rubber that looks like a tourniquet, what is that? I didn't want to ask my son, lolOtherwise, so far, the bow seems great! I will update soon.
