Great little TV for over-the-air broadcasts
Initial impressions January 2025 purchase of Jexiop 9" IPS Screen Small TV...Great little TV for coax antenna input. This is not an HDMI monitor although the AV input might work with older players or VCRs with the AV outputs. The picture quality looks a little better in person than the photos you see in the reviews here on Amazon. The tuner does a very good job making a usable picture with few break-ups from the weak signals we receive in our apartment building. The picture looks good even if you're viewing off center. It's plenty bright. You enable the signal meter to help you locate and orient your antenna while previewing the actual picture. The HD broadcasts fill the screen, but if you're watching a subchannel like 3.2, the old game shows will be broadcast in the lower resolution 4:3 ratio. Happily, by default the TV won't stretch the 4:3 picture. It puts black bars left and right which rather nicely match the bezel's color and shinyness. It's a color screen, but old black and white shows look good on this screen. The [EPG] button on the remote control brings up a brief list of upcoming TV shows for the channel you are watching. The channel up/down and volume up/down buttons on the right margin have a nice positive clicky feel and the layout is perfect for right-handers. Those buttons have up/down/back/forward arrows to move around in the menus. There is a physical slide switch on the left side to turn it on or off.The remote control uses small, mushy but positive buttons. Batteries included. The stand is surprisingly stable. You can change the angle and adjust it up and down. There are holes in the base, so you could mount the stand to a wall. The built in battery is not user-replaceable. The power cord isn't terribly long but the plug grips so it isn't going to slip out every time you move the TV. There's also an adapter for your car cigarette lighter. You can watch TV while it is charging. You'll want to put a bit of tape over that power button. It's bright. There's a lot of thought and care put into this design. If you told me this came from Panasonic or Sony, I'd believe you.

Super little TV
I had a small Axion portable TV that went kaput. I read the reviews on this one and decided to make the plunge. I am not disappointed. I was so anxious to set this up I fumbled and waisted time using the on TV buttons but soon learned the easiest way is to put the batteries in the remote and set up with remote. After set up and scanning for channels available, I have over 70 and they all come in crystal clear and the sound is good. I do not regret making the plunge to purchase this little set, especially at power outage times. It has a good picture quality and would not hesitate to recommend this set. I hope it last much longer than the Axion that went kaput.

Absolutely great!
Image is clear, easy to put up, light and at the same time sturdy. It has a lot of accessories. Sound is clear, too. Reception is excellent as it picked u several tv channels. Definitely a good deal.

Nice small portable TV with signal meter
I bought for use as a tool, in combination with a TV box that has a signal strength meter, to use in my attic to help me locate and aim my home TV antenna. Turns out the TV itself has a built-in signal meter that's pretty decent. If you have a similar need, this TV by itself would be a valuable tool. For general use, it's pretty straight forward. Picture and sound good. It has a built-in battery which charges with the wall adapter so you can run it on either. I can't vouch for how long the battery lasts by itself, but it seems like it would be good for camping etc. And let's be real, if you're in a remote area, the supplied antenna probably won't cut it (need a YAGI). Overall, a nice little TV with a signal meter. Does not have a HDMI input. Does have 1/8" head phone jack. See ad for other details.

Great, but no HDMI
I found this small portable TV really had a good picture for its size and price (viewable from angles as well, unlike some other battery powerable TVs).720p is plenty for a 9" TV. Everyone should understand that the picture quality could be lower than 720p (or 1080p for a 1080p TV) when watching TV over the air. That's what the television station is transmitting, not the TV.I liked everything about this TV except at the end of the day, I knew I'd want an HDMI port and it does not have one.

doesn't get most channels
I live in amajor city. I can get 2 out of the 5 major channels on this tv. But I can get all the Asian, Hispanic, Religious, etc with no problem. Tried the antenna and tv in different areas and nothing changes. The picture is great.Another problem is I will be watching a football game, and the sound switches automatically after a few minutes to Spanish. When I asked the company how to fix this,, they told me to change it back. great hlep - NOT

Tiny but mighty
The media could not be loaded. This was a great purchase, we ran a scam and got 40+ channels. The picture quality is great for q tiny and inexpensive TV. I got it for our RV which is mostly used as a guest house and my parents love the little TV. It comes with a remote control. It was a great buy.

Very impressed
Great picture. I bought to use in my underground storm shelter for Alabama tornado season. The magnetic antenna base is perfect to hold on to the top of my metal stair rails for best reception. I can now watch local tv stations radar to prepare for what’s coming. This is much better than the Tyler tv that I had to return because it had been previously opened and wouldn’t work.
