Great for the beginner craftsman
This book will really set you up for success in woodworking. They book discusses tools, how to use them, and even safety advisories. This not only teaches you the skill but also how to do it safely. Then there are explanations on types of woods to use for which projects. That is helpful info that a beginner might not be aware of. There are also around 50 projects for you to practice your skills and feel like you accomplished something neat. There are pictures, which I appreciated as a more visual learner. I think this is a well done little book set.

Needed to be proofread before release.
Says orbital sander is fitted with a disc for playing music 🎼? Who wrote this book?? While it does contain some basic useful information for the absolute beginner, it does insult the intelligence of readers in many ways.

Waste of time and money
This book is garbage. It upsets me to the point of a leaving a review, something I never do. The fact that it has a 5 star rating is a blatant lie. The book reads like one copy and paste after another, all from various sources. It is full of misspelling and sloppy grammatical errors. The advice in this book is laughable.

Refers to pictures that don’t exist throughout book.
Refers to pictures that don’t exist throughout book. See attached pictures. Page 14 and others throughout book. Very disappointing. Book was printed on order date ( made to order ) which makes me think that The reason pictures are missing is because the individual printing the book ran out of money to print or Some other reason to rush printing the book. The words are in a larger than expected font size to compensate for the lack of pictures were there should be (ie p17). Also I wanna note that the paragraph headers always coincide with the paragraphed see page 20 and 21. Quality of this book put together is obviously not professional by any means. On a different note there’s a lot of good knowledge offered. I am just not a big fan of its presentation.

Setting up a workshop
I got this woodworking set for my husband who is really getting started in woodworking. So far he has loved this bookset. I know that he now has a very long list of tools that is on his wish list. He has several projects marked that he is wanting to make once he has the time. It's a great set for anyone who likes woodworking.

Great book for starting a workshop
This goes into starting a workshop safely. Some do's and don'ts. It has some basic projects as well. It has equipment and product lists and dimensions, but very little pics of detail as you go for a DIY book. If your ok with picturing things in your mind or already have some skills I would pick it up for ideas for setting up a nice safe workshop.
