This timer seemed good, but just suddenly stopped working after using it twice. I used it gently and simply, and the timer simply stopped working! What have we gotten to, if a timer for close to $100 cannot be expected to endure using it for more than two times! And it's past my return window. guys, take heed of all the reviews telling you that it will simply stop working after a very short time!

It is an excellent teaching tool for my twin boys who are eager to learn about time..

This was fantastic, until it stopped working 6 months in. We used it in our cafeteria, and only adults were adjusting it. We attempted to change batteries...still did not work. Very unfortunate, as it was a great tool for the cafeteria.

This timer is great! Very nice size and I like how you can change the amount of time it measures with the different faces/settings. The only thing is, the plastic time markers snapped when we tried to remove them the first time. But those are also sold separately so can be replaced. Just need to be careful when removing them from the back!

This is a great timer but it stopped working after two months. Switched batteries 2-3 times but it still won’t work. It gets stuck on the amount of time you set it for. Buzzer works fine but the problem is that the timer is stuck. Not worth the money I paid for it, since I’m a new teacher, this product has become useless for me now. I’m very disappointed!

Item stopped working after a few months. Dont buy!! Way too expensive for the cheap quality that it is. Also it sucks battery energy really fast which is inconvenient, as there is no plug-in.

I have bought and returned this item over 5 times. Amazon is great about the returns and have even gotten insurance on it but this last purchase it wasn't even an option to get. I really like the large countdown clock for my classroom and I just don't like that it stops working. Yes, I'm the only one that touches it. Students aren't allowed and yes, I do put in new batteries to see if it's that. It's the gears.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is big. They give you dimensions and size comparisons, but it feels much larger in person. It's great if you're using it in a large classroom or other space where people will be quite a way away from it. The timer face is easy to read, and you can easily tell how much time has elapsed or is remaining.It doesn't come with any markers, batteries, or faces beyond 2 hours. It takes two C-sized batteries. It can countdown from 24 hours though. You can use the blank panel for the settings that don't have panels included, or you can purchase the additional panels. Last time I checked they were about $20. The panels pop in and out easily, but they're held into the timer quite securely. There are two finger holes on the back to push them out. It also includes three dividers that store in the back of the timer and can be snapped into any position on the face.On the back of the timer, you'll find the alarm switch that allows you to mute it, turn on low, or turn it on high. It sounds like the traditional alarm clock. See an example in my video. You'll also find the adjustment knob for setting the countdown time, the battery compartment, and the stand. The stand has two positions. One allows it to stand on a tabletop and the other is for hanging it. It sits securely on a flat surface. The timer also has a hole on the back to allow you to mount it directly on a screw or nail in the wall.The included wall mount bracket comes with two screws. It allows you to mount the timer on the wall in two different ways. You can just hang the timer directly on the bracket or fold the stand all the way up and hang it from the stand. Either way works just as well.Overall, this is a great timer with several uses. It'd work well in a classroom setting, but it'd be just at home in a gym or office. It would be nice if they included a dry erase marker and a set of batteries for the price, but I still think it's worth the price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something similar.
