Having never done any sort of physical work like this on my computer, I was a little nervous at first to try it myself, but it was very, very easy. You will re-use the screws and the rubber pads that cover the screws, so do not lose any of those. If you are someone who likes written instructions, you'll be happy to hear that even though this doesn't come with written directions, you will not need them whatsoever. (And there are some excellent, simple tutorials online for those who are uncomfortable performing the replacement.)My bezel had cracked in a couple of places and absolutely had to be replaced right away. It was so bad that I could not even close my laptop, which was a major problem because I often take my computer to work. I could have ordered this for less money from the Dell website, true, but since it was an urgent need I ordered through amazon prime so I could get it as soon as possible. It arrived on time and was on my laptop in less than 15 minutes after it came to the door.Don't worry if your laptop does not have a webcam. This will not affect the fit or performance of the product.

My laptop survived two boys as babies, toddlers, preschool age and now heavy usage for business. Keyboards were replaced with bought on amazon and now the cover cracked and was falling apart. Bought this hoping I could do it myself again without paying someone to fix my over 10 yr old laptop.Sure enough, easy to install and fits perfectly as it should.

I dropped my Dell Inspiron after three months of ownership. I took it so many places to get it repaired and was told it would be cheaper to buy a new one. It sat for about two years and I went online saw a few how- to videos and replaced it my self. That was over a year ago and it is still working very well!.

when i recieved the package for this. it was not packed to well. the packaging was a envelope. the bessel was broke in half. instead of waiting for a new one i just used it.

I sold my laptop shortly after receiving this and it went on my dell 1545 with little effort. It's extremely fragile(thin plastic) so use caution when installing it But it did the trick and looks good. Was well packaged and covered in plastic...so no marks on it at all. Everything lined up and went into place. I recommend this.
