The ladder is stabile after it’s open. It would be nicer to have the work tray in a lighter color so it would be easier to see the tools. I did not deduct a star for that. I gave it 5 stars for sturdy and stabile even while standing on the 4th step. The 4th step is a little wider also in helping when your up there on it. The wider feet help tremendously. That’s why I chose it over others. When folded it is easy enough for carrying.

This ladder replace another ladder and is so much sturdier than the one I had. I am a senior woman and hated having to get on my old ladder to take care of outdoor chores. I am not afraid of this ladder it is very sturdy and solid. I gives me something to hang on to and keeps my supplies, screws, hammer, screwdrivers, or whatever near so I do not have to go up and down the ladder to retrieve what I need. I love this ladder as I do not have to ask for help because I am afraid of falling. Perfectly suits my needs.

Be careful as this ladder falls apart very quickly. The feet come off when transporting. The top tray constantly gets pulled off during transportation. This is a good ladder if keeping at home or in an office/shop. Not good for transporting while doing contract work. Good luck.

I bought this ladder to use inside for basic maintenance around the house. It only took one use to realize this ladder was a good choice. It's very sturdy, the oversized steps are great, and the sectional tray at top comes in very handy. I would recommend this ladder from this Seller without question.
