Rugged little machine
Started on 2nd pull. I’m 6ft 230 lbs. this thing pulled me around like I was a rag doll . Haven’t tilled my garden in 2 years and it went through it very easy. Can’t believe a unknown 7 hp engine can be this strong. If this thing holds up, it’s a heck of a deal.UPDATE: I’ve had it for almost 2 years now. This thing is a beast. Best tiller I’ve ever used! I did a 8x20 garden in about 23 minutes. I’m very impressed with this monster. I would rather use this Splendor tiller over the 12 hp rentals I’ve used in the past. Not sure why it has weak rating. It’s the best thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon.

It's pretty good
I like this style of tiller without the wheels because it's much more maneuverable and smaller to store. I used a borrowed kubota for many years and was looking for something similar. This one isn't at the same level of quality, but it's available, it can be shipped to your house, and it's pretty cheap. The engine seems good and is powerful enough. I tilled under weeds and corn stalks at the end of the season and even took it through hard clay soil with grass without any problems. My main complaint is that handle height is not adjustable. The handles are set at a height that is good for transporting it, but when I'm tilling and it sinks into the ground I have to stoop a bit which is not good on my back. The design would make it easy to bend some pipe into a new set of handles though, so I may do that. I wish they made a higher end version and I would have been wiling to pay more for something better. I think this one is well worth the price though.

Very poweful
Great power. Great width. Great depth. Even better customer service.(I had trouble keeping it running. They responded within an hour and identified the issue. I had not put in enough oil so the auto cut-off engaged).Perfect for me and my needs. The only potential concern for smaller people is that it is so powerful it takes some strength. But I love it! It plowed through 50'x50' un-tilled soil in about 30 minutes without issue.

One tough beast
Just wanted to drop a few lines about my latest garden gear grab—the SPLENDOR Gas Powered Tiller with that beefy 212CC engine. Man, where has this beast been all my gardening life? So, here's the scoop: This tiller is adjustable, which is super handy. You can switch up the working width from 13 inches all the way to 33.5 inches. That flexibility? A total game-changer for both my tiny flower beds and the bigger veggie patches. I was able to get right up close to my delicate plants without risking damage and then widen it out to cover more ground quickly. Super efficient! The 4-cycle engine is the real MVP here. It's powerful, starts up without a fuss, and honestly, it runs smoother than I expected—no mixing gas and oil, which is a relief. It plowed through tough, compacted soil like it was butter. And despite all that power, it wasn’t bouncing all over the place, which I’ve experienced with less sturdy models. It's a bit on the heavier side, but honestly, that weight helps with stability and digging depth. Plus, the assembly was a breeze. I was ready to roll in no time.If you’re on the fence about it, I say go for it. It's made my gardening a heck of a lot easier, and I think it'll do the same for you. Happy tilling!

UPDATED: Brand new and will not start
UPDATE - Apparently this product is VERY picky about exactly how much oil it has. Put the tiller so the engine is level and FILL the oil to the point that you can't add more. That is what it takes to make it start. Now that it's started and running. Tills great! Quite a workhorse. New problem is that over time while using the throttle gradually backs off. In order to keep it at full throttle we have wrapped a bungee strap around it. We are working with their support team and engineers for a fix.Splendor Customer Support is FIVE STAR all day long!!! They are extremely helpful and supportive.********Assembly done. Gas and oil done. All switches in correct positions. Will not start. Wanted to validate it's getting spark - it is not. Now what? We have a brand new completely useless piece of equipment.

Don’t buy this machine, complete waste of money
The directions are horrible, assembly is just best guess. Throttle clutch are very poor quality do not work smoothly, it is unintelligible what direction to push the lever to get the choke on.I tried to start it for over an hour on two different occasions and was unsuccessful.

I Should Have Paid for a Better One
This tiller worked well for a couple of hours, but then then belt started smoking and it had no power. It's already at the mechanic shop.
