Airtag Cat Collar with Breakaway Bell, Reflective Adjustable Strap with Air Tag Case for Cat Kitten (Black)

These collars are light, reflective and easy to take on and off. Initially I was worried that it would be too heavy, but my cat was fine with it. I got a second one for our new older kitten and we will see. I did take the bell off for her because she is very noise sensitive and would be constantly looking for where the sound came from. Our cats are indoor only at this point.

My cat likes to escape. I have a name tag. This is helpful. So is Next Door and Facebook and all of the other tools that have helped her find her way back before. A friend introduced me to the concept of an AirTag for pets. Then she got out again. This time she fell down my basement well. I would have never found her there. She would have starved to death. The app is so clear and specific that when she didn’t come out for breakfast, I started looking for her. It showed her in the corner of my house. I looked in that corner and she wasn’t there. Then it occurred to me that she was in that corner on the outside and I found her immediately. Without this collar… how sad. And yes, I recognize I’m a bad pet mom for her managing to escape in the first place. But maybe just maybe I earn a couple points back for having the AirTag on her. I recommend highly that you do the same.

This is a nice, basic cat collar that holds an Air Tag securely. I like that it is a breakaway collar to prevent accidental strangulations. Of course, hopefully the collar will never get caught on anything and come off but it is better to have that safety feature even if it means you might lose the Air Tag and not be able to locate your cat as easily. I’m glad cat-specific collars that hold Air Tags are available now. In the past, they were mostly dog collar sized, way too big for most cats. The reflective feature is good to have for nighttime visibility. The silicone piece that holds the Air Tag is soft and flexible. It was easy to place the Air Tag in it. It could probably be more secure but for my purposes, it is good enough. The Air Tag has stayed put.Although my cat hasn’t shown any signs that having the collar on bothers him, I only put this on my cat when we are hanging out together in the backyard a few hours a day. I got it mainly in case something spooks him and he takes off over the fence, which thankfully hasn’t happened so far. Once we’re back inside, I take the collar off for the sake of his comfort.Size wise, this collar is a good fit for my cat. It’s fairly lightweight. My cat is a rather slim cat, about 8-9 lbs and I had to adjust the collar to the smallest circumference possible. It doesn’t affect the function but the collar is already fraying a little with just a few hours of use. If I snip off the small pieces of thread, it should be fine. I took off the bell that came with the collar because I already had another bell my cat doesn’t mind wearing. The included bell is a nice, little bell though.All in all, if your cat is not super active or doesn’t have a tendency to try to rip his/her collar off, this collar should work fine.

We were looking for a collar to hold an Apple Airtag for our small, 4 month old kitten. This is the prrrfect solution! After just a few seconds she does not even mind the collar and the weight of the AirTag. We have peace of mind knowing where she is and that she has not ventured outside.

Product was great, until it wasn’t. I didn’t notice it broke right away, but when I couldn’t find my cat and tried to activate the AirTag through Find My, I didn’t find the cat but I found the broken AirTag holder on the floor. For hours I was in a panic that my cat was gone, and this is why I’d bought this item, but it was not durable.

She hasn’t complained once when we out this on her and she looks so cute

Overall, the collar has done its job! It holds the airtag snugly for when we have to locate our new kitten. The collar is a lovely color with an adorable latch. Sadly, there was near immediate fraying in multiple spots.Thankfully the air tag holder is easily removed, so when it wears down a bit more it will be easy to transfer it if she still needs it. If your kitten likes to try and EAT threads/strings, I would either watch them very closely with this collar or go with a different one!

Mi gato tenía un par de años sin usar collar y lo volvió a aceptar fácilmente, el AirTag queda bien sujeto y no se safa con el movimiento normal del gato.El seguro no se abre con tanta facilidad así que puede ser bueno ya que no lo perdería, pero también se puede atorar un poco. Sería evaluar dependiendo de cada gato
