VINGLI Pool Ladder Heavy-Duty Safety Step for Above Ground Pools Stair Entry System with Handrails, White and Grey (White, 4 Steps)

Excellent product for handicapped people to get in and out of the pool. Steps are wide and deep for someone to sit on and get in and out of the pool one step at a time.

I normally try to order items that I can assemble myself without having to involve my husband (he has enough projects). I watched the video before purchasing, read the reviews and bought the item. It was reasonable and looked easy to assemble without tools. However, upon assembly it was clear that it would not be feasible without a rubber mallet. Once I got that, everything went together relatively easily. However, the stair risers will NOT go down enough to fit into the stair tread grooves except on the bottom tread (See photo 2). As you can see in the other photos, there is a gap. Even putting my full weight on the stairs will not get that part to fit snugly, but maybe over time with use it will. The biggest problem is the stair rails. For my life, I cannot get them to snap into place, so the jury is still out on how that will work. If I can get them snapped, then I can screw the covering piece down to make them snug. I will not be filling with sand, however, as I will rely on water to fill and will take the suggestion of another reviewer and use weights. I don't want to risk getting sand in the pool.

These steps were very easy to put together with the help of a rubber mallet. After reading the reviews, there was no way I was attempting to put sand in the sides because of the hole size. Instead I purchased a two pack of places sand bags that hold 60lbs of sand. I placed these bags on a shelf I added by cutting 1 1/4 inch pvc conduit and putting them in the slots on each side. I filled each side with water as I was putting them in the pool. The steps are staying in place and not moving at all. I don’t have kid’s playing on the steps so that helps. The hand rails are flimsy but not too bad so I’ll have to figure out how to make them more sturdy.

This was a waste of money. It was flimsy and not suitable for an adult to use. If you only had a 40 pound child using it maybe but no one heavier. The railings wobbled, the steps don’t fit right. Pure garbage!!!

We love this pool ladder. It has larger steps and is more sturdy than our old ladder. We anchored it to the top rails of pool. The steps are much wider and we feel safer when we climb out of the pool. Love these steps. Would recommend for anyone who needs a wider step for balance getting in or out of pool. Love them...

Made getting in and out of the pool much easier. Well-made have used it one season and it seems to be holding up perfect. Highly recommend.

hand rails too flimsy. for the money i was hoping sturdier.

The rails are very flimsy, steps are fine
