Works for me
I wanted something to help me learn metrics. It works well for that.

Hard to hold still to measure.
It folds up but is floppy and difficult to get accurate readings due to very loose joints. I need to buy a different one. Accuracy at the 4 hinges is not possible.

Meter sticks are not sold in most US retail stores. I could not find any.
Most of the world works with the metric system. Many US scientists express themselves in meters and liters. The number of metric wrenches in my toolbox grows every month. I bought this meter stick to help my grandchildren understand the difference between yards and meters. Finding a yard stick at a local retail store was very easy.

Works great easy to read
Folds up and goes in my work apron. Much easier to use than my small tape for some measurements. Measured against a scale and shows good accuracy.

Very flimsey
Very hard to use, as it is flimsy and will not stay straight. Bends and folds. Would be fine for measuring a flat horizontal surface, but that is all.

Not as advertised!!!
This is not a folding meter stick as described. What I received was a one piece meter stick with the same item number shown in the item description. It was not a shipping error. Item is being returned to Amazon. Do not order this item if you need a folding meter stick.

Great Math Tool
This is a great tool for homeschool. My only complaint is that it does not snap in place to hold it open.
