Q: How do I properly align the chipper and the scoring blade? The product graphics is unclear about alignment of dado blade with gullet on scoring saw.

I cannot answer that question. I received the one I had ordered and found it a product I was unwilling to have or use. The blades and chippers have a tendency to collide and bind on one another. I did not like what I saw. I in turn purchased the Diablo Dado set. It is an awesome tool. the parts fit together very nicely and with the shims and shimming instructions you can almost get a perfect dado width the first time.

24 tooth looks like a standard 7.5" ATB blade

U definitely can. U may need to custom make a table insert to accommodate the blade width (or buy an insert) but it will definitely fit any 10' saw. Only difference between the 8" & 10" is the depth of cut but very uncommon to need a dado cut deeper than what an 8" cuts.

I use this on my 10" Craftsman Radial Arm Saw without any inserts (I am assuming you mean the arbor shaft). It will fit any saw with a 5/8" arbor. You would need a special dado insert for any table saw due to the width of the blades.
