Having wanted a drone for some time, but always being put off by the prices, the Holy Stone HS720G was a good fit for both price and quality.Having not flown a drone before, I was a little nervous, but really had no reason to be, this unit is so easy to fly!Image quality is good, although doesnt appear to be 4K as advertised, but this may be a setting I have not yet found.Battery life is as advertised and the unit come in a nice case, including the drone, controller, charger cable, and spare propellers and screwdriver.Stabilisation is excellent, and the app is easy to use, and to transfer images and video to my phones memory.A Very good drone for the price, and I hope to have many more flights before im ready to take on something more Pro!

I am quite a keen photographer and have been interested in getting a drone for aerial shots for some time. Having looked around, I was quite impressed with the specification of this drone, and while not cheap, did seem to be reasonably priced for what you get compared to similar from other brands. There is the added expense of obtaining an operator ID from the CAA (in the UK) for this drone, if you are responsible for it, but that isn't too much and fairly easy to get. You also need a flyer ID to fly it. Again, this is fairly straightforward.I am impressed with the build quality of the drone and the case it comes with is excellent and everything is well protected when packed inside.I found it quite easy to get started. A little patience setting up probably goes a long way, but isn't difficult. On first flight I was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to fly. The drone responds well to the remote. I did find it a bit fiddly getting my phone into the remote, but that was more to do with the phone than the remote. I guess it depends where your phones buttons are. I had to have my phone slightly off centre to avoid one of the buttons, but it works fine nonetheless.As far as the camera goes, the quality of both still and video is good. The gimbal does a reasonable job of keeping things steady. Video is a bit jerky when changing direction rotationally, but for me this isn't too much of a problem. May be with a bit more practice this can be improved.This is a great bit of kit, but on one occasion the drone did seem to lose it's stability and was difficult to control. I'm not sure why that occurred and I hope it was a one off.I haven't tried all the features other than the follow me mode which worked quite well. I haven't quite worked out the others as yet.If you're after a reasonably priced drone with some good features I don't think you can go far wrong with this. I would definitely recommend it.

The HS720G is supplied in a very smart case, very impressive. The case contains the drone, battery, battery charging cable, spare props, and the controller. As the drone is of the folding arm type the case is much smaller that that for the HS120D for example. Certainly easy enough and light enough to carry around.The kit is supplied with one battery, I haven’t been able to track down a spare as one is not really enough if you have travelled some distance to fly. Though Holystone do have a system to enable one to get another.The controller, which has an information window set in it, requires 2 AA batteries, which was a surprise as all the other Holystone drones I have have usb charging. Some folk may find this a better system, easy enough to carry some spare batts. whereas a recharge takes time.In information window supplies all the info required to fly the drone so a smartphone is not really needed. Though without one you won’t be able to see what the drone is flying over and/or recording.The drone flies very well, even in moderate wind it is pretty stable and the gimbal really does make a difference when filming. I’ve seem my drone at a 10 or 15 degree bank but the horizon was still level. The drone takes upto a 128gig micro sd card.One battery is stated to give 26 mins flying and I wouldn’t argue with that, I always head mine for home with plenty left. It records in MPG4 so just about any computer OS shouldn’t have any trouble reading the files.Overall, a very impressive reasonably priced drone that has quite a few bells and whistles in the app. The app you want is Opheila FLY and you do have to set up an account.The one small negative for me is the phone holder on the controller. It’s safe but I twitch each time I use it as you have to use a fair bit of force to bring it fully into position. Having said that the whole system seems very well made, it’s just me I guess :-)UPDATE : I tried to take advantage of the HolyStone spare battery offer and was told that they were unable to ship them to the UK as we were no longer part of the EU. Have been unable to find a 2nd battery so far, In consequence one battery limits the practicality of using the drone for anything semi serious as even with a fast charger you are likely to be sitting around for some time waiting for the battery to recharge.UPDATE : Drone lost! Thought I would check out the camera in low light compared to other drones I have. After carrying out full pre flight started engines press auto take off, Drone shot up into the air some 20 or 30 metres and took off at a terrific rate of knots for I know not where. Press RTH, control said 'Returning' for about a min then message switched to 'Lost Connection' and that was that, it has not come back.However, Holy Stone's customer Care is second to none. Very easy to contact, very responsive and happy to take ownership. I relayed the above problem to them simply to make them aware of the RTH issue. A new drone is on it's way to me, totally unexpected. So very impressed and this makes a real difference as to which next drone to buy in my book.

Ich habe mir diese Drohne als Anfänger bestellt, nachdem die Lust im Urlaub mit einer Spielzeugdrohne doch recht groß wurde und ich somit die "großen" ausprobieren wollte.Kurz und Knapp, die Drohne eignet sich super für Anfänger. Im Handbuch ist jede Funktion genaustens beschrieben (Deutsch & Englisch).Nach den ersten Testflügen kann ich als "Leie" auch sagen das mir die Bildqualität in der Preisklasse gefällt. Zugegeben, sie hätte auch einen kleinen Tick besser hätte sein können. Luft nach Oben gibts ja immer.... ;-)Für Profissionelle Foto-/Videoaufträge reicht sie meiner Meinung nach nicht aus.Ich bin aber trotzdem Rund um Zufrieden!Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Drohne ist wirklich Top. Aufnahme ruckelt etwas , liegt aber vielleicht auch an mangelnder Erfahrung .

Dies ist meine erste Drohne und ich bin sofort mit ihr klar gekommen. Die Einrichtung war sehr einfach, auch dank des guten quickstart Videos auf deren Youtube seite. die App ist leicht zu navigieren und die verschiedenen Modi gut erreichbar. die Aufnahmen sowohl Fotos als auch Videos sind sehr gut, dank des Gimble und EIS. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Drohne, die sehr gute, hochwertigeund vorallem anfänger freundlich ist.

Sehr gute Qualität zum super Preis.Man sollte mit etwas üben , aber leicht zu bediehnen.Der Service zu dem Artikel ist super und läßt nichts zu wünschen übrig.Bei Problemen wird schnell und unkompliziert geholfen.Daumen hoch für dieses Produkt mit dem Service!!!!

Eine robuste Drohne, die gut zu fliegen ist.Habe eine kleine Reklamation mit der Fernbedienung gehabt(Display geht nach Sekunden aus)Habe den Service angeschrieben und meine Reklamation wurde sofort und anstandslos bearbeitet.
