I have a Yamaha clavinova CLP-130 connected to an iPad air fifth generation using Simply Piano, followed the directions and it works perfectly.

Good quality cables
Good cables for connecting my concert keyboard to our full-sized church organ to increase sound choices available for Sunday services. Cables worked perfectly. Good quality.

Does what it should.
I use this cable to hook up a Yamaha DD75 e-drum kit to my PC. It does what it should with ease. I only wish the cable were a bit longer, but it's not bad.

Device short lived but seller graciously stands by it's customers and products
We purchased this for the music program at our church, in order to run a midi Lowry organ through a laptop. We received it in August and it worked absolutely GREAT. I recommend reading and holding onto the installation cards and Customer service cards that came with the device, and following the directions exactly. We had music for services and rehearsals every week since installing it. But then in November it stopped working altogether. We reattached everything as directed. We tried different USB ports and a different laptop altogether. We even uninstalled the software that controlled the midi files thinking it might help but nothing. After some research, this is common apparently with these devices.Reached out to customer service and they reached out to us and helped us troubleshoot problem. Turns out the device may have had a malfunction. Seller graciously apologized for any issues and is resending a new device at no charge. We depend on the organ and the connection for our services.I guess if your looking for something short term this is great, but would recommend a backup if you depend solely on the device. Technology is what it is.

Works great!
Works great! Lights up and is really fast. Dorico works so much better, I'd get an 1/8th note lag before...Now lag free!

Simple answer to MIDI
This product is a great answer to simple MIDI connection issues. No "MIDI box" is necessary, no software. Just connect and go!A great product.

Fine for less than 30 seconds play/record period. Otherwise, buy from a reputable brand.
Do not buy this cable if you are using this to play live. The signals are not clean, and you can see it in Ableton. Using it with Kontakt, it randomly stops working every few minutes, and you wont get any sounds due to corrupt/missing/erratic signals.(Left: this cable. Right: Roland UM-ONE mk2.)Buy something more expensive like Roland.
