A good book...

“Pots” nails it in the first sentence of the book, namely that planting things in containers is highly addictive ! I certainly think so and the book is now my ‘go-to’ reference not just for individual plants, but also for how to choose combinations for colour or foliage, and for what to do in your pot garden at which particular time of year. I have a balcony garden, which is my pride and joy and ‘Pots’ gives me lots of practical ideas about how to maintain it and make it even prettier ! Go potty ! Buy “Pots” !

Beautiful book. Packed full of information, great pictures and extremely well written, from the author’s personal perspective, experience and knowledge, but in a way that is very easy to understand and inspiring.

Minimum ideas or instructions, very disappointing

I found the book informative and interesting.

I was so looking forward to receiving this book but was so disappointed ….by the photographs! There seems to be a tend in some factions to publish photographs which are very dark….often with dark backgrounds, which remind me of old Dutch paintings. Sadly however the result is that the photo is pretty dull , especially if it’s already small in size. Moreover there were many photographs which are out of focus so if you are looking for detail…. All in all a great shame…..I was hoping this book would excite me to plant up pots next season…..but this book is going back to Amazon and I will find something better.

Full of useful tips and beautiful illustrations, this book has been a great hit with friends and family as well as myself. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to grow plants in pots or already loves doing so.
