Criminal Justice Today: An Introductory Text for the 21st Century (14th Edition)

Bought this because I needed it for an elective I took at my university (I blame Forensic Files for getting me interested in Criminal Justice). That said there are many other documentaries or *much* more affordable books with similar fundamental concepts explained if you're simply trying to get into this topic. As is the case with most university level textbooks, I highly recommend renting the book if you absolutely must for your course. You can always go back and buy it another time if you truly loved it. (Has anyone *loved* a textbook enough to purchase it though?) That said, this book is a decent resource and explains the subject matter in a way that is easily understandable but at this price point unless you *absolutely* must 100% have it to cite for your Intro to Criminal Justice course, I'd pass.

This book is in horrible condition. The binding is coming undone. The cover is torn. I am afraid to turn pages as it may just pull away from the binding.

I got this book for a college course and it was very useful for studying the topics of the course! Easy to use and understand.

Although it is a textbook and I had to study the material... it is extremely informative and up to date highly recommended it if you want to get an A in your Criminology course.

I needed this for my criminal justice class. It served it purpose. Great chapters and it covers the basics of criminal justice.
