I have two monitors and a laptop on my desk. This doesn't leave me with a lot of room to position a desk lamp that will shed light on the work surface in front of me. Since I still use a lot of paper I need this area lit up in my dark basement office. I have this positioned on my middle monitor which makes it perfect for the task. The remote control is great but took a little bit of time for me to get used to the response time of the touch controls. The light levels this puts out are very good and you have the ability to control the color temperature of the LED's. This makes it very handy in that it gives me the perfect light from the morning coffee and email reading to the late night work sessions. I highly recommend this product.

Stared to use on December/24 and April/24 it stop working. Of course the return policy was 2 or 3 months and no support... Waste of money.

Got this almost 6 months ago, and its great! Hardest part was opening the controller to but batteries because it does not come with instructions. It's not that easy to angle as they show, but i don't move it to much. still got what i wanted for a pretty good prices!

Lighting the workspace is challenging. Ring lights provide light but it often focuses on your face creating glare without really lighting the workspace. The light sits on top of a remote monitor projecting light downward. The remove puck controls the light making it easily accessible on the desk top. Pairing the puck to the light was a little tricky, but after a few tries it worked well.Overall recommended if you are looking to light up a desk and use a separate monitor. The only issue is if you have a camera or ring light for video sitting on top of the monitor. if that is the case then its hard to position this light in the center of your desk.

Of all the reviews I seen with the other lights this seems to have the best reviews. Only thing is be careful when putting the back panel on the small console when installing the batteries. Other than that I would recommend it.

I purchased this product instead of a more expensive brand BenQ. Unfortunately, it stopped working in less than 2 months. Tried various troubleshooting methods by the manufacturer but didn't resolve my issue. Waiting for Manufacturer's response.

Update:Turns out it was a dead battery. Overall, batteties for the remote drain quicker than I thought. I also don'trecall seeing a low battery or any other indicators. Customer service or manual PDFs are nonexistant. Upgrading to 3/5 instead of the old 2/5 rating for these reasons.Old review:This lightbar is quite elegant. It doesn't have the strip holding it into the monitor stand like most other lightbars which is why I chose to buy this; to see how it works. The remote is pretty unique with 3 different preset options that are around the perimeter of the inside of the puck along with 'brightness' and 'temperature' mode. Choosing a mode and turning the gray outside of the puck allows you to change that respective setting. Both setting are remembered after turn off and on which is also nice.The unique feature mentioned before where the lightbar itself attaches to the lightbar stand on the monitor is done with magnets.Although at first I would have given this product a 5 star rating, I simply can't mine stopped working after 4 months. Unplugging and replugging in power doesn't work and the remote itself doesn't even recognize my touch even though it has new batteries. On top of this, there is no customer service for this company that I could find. I don't think this problem is something only I'm experiencing though since other reviews are saying the same thing. For the price point I got what I expect but the durability is simply not there.I'd advice you to go anywhere else but here for your lightbar needs.
