Okay one more update: If you reverse the fans (opposite the direction from the instructions), it's super quiet like the description says. I can barely hear the fans when I am using it. And my temps are around in the low 40s with overclocks. So note to the developer of the instruction book (and the folks putting the little black stickers on the fans), reverse it!Update: I had to remove the fans altogether. Just way too noisy. My wife said she was going to throw the thing out if I didn't make it quieter, lol. And even without the fans, this thing never goes above 50 degrees Celcius, and I'm overclocking at 1800 MHz and playing games on Batocera OS.I recently got the ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 4 Case, and as far as first impressions go, this little unit certainly has its appeal. Its sleek design makes it an aesthetic addition to my workspace without skimping on practical functionality.The assembly process was effortless and straightforward, which is a major plus. The last thing anyone wants is to be stuck with a complex, headache-inducing setup. Thankfully, that is not a worry in this case. It was super easy to put together and didn't take up much of my time.All the ports on the pi board are conveniently located and easy to use, adding to the overall functionality of this case. The design team has put thought into making it as user-friendly as possible.But what I loved the most was the heatsink. It resembles a miniature engine block and does an exceptional job at cooling the Raspberry Pi 4. It's not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly efficient.However, while the case shines in design, assembly, accessibility, and heat management, it does have a significant downside - noise. The built-in fans, while powerful, are far from the 'low-noise' as advertised. The hum is noticeably loud and can be quite distracting, especially if you seek to use it while you work or do just about anything at your desk.I attempted to mitigate this issue by lubricating the bearings. It provided some relief, but the fans are still louder than I would prefer. This issue nearly came close to being a deal-breaker for me, and it's something I hope the company addresses in future models.The ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 4 Case is a solid product with a visually appealing design and user-friendly features. It does its job well, and, in most aspects, it truly shines. However, be prepared for some noise pollution due to the fans. I'd recommend this product but with a caveat about the fan noise.

Bought for me as a Christmas present (2022)Very easy to assemble following the included instructions, although the small bolts were a challenge to these 75yr old fingers, as were the heat transfer pads for the CPU. A good job spares were supplied!All parts marry up perfectly showing great quality control.Nice look when assembled and powered-up. Colour changing LEDs look good, and their brightness can be adjusted easily using the small potentiometer in the case with the supplied screwdriver.Good quality aluminium shell, with transparent acrylic side panels showing off the Pi4 nicely.Recommended for all you Pi 4 uses, especially if you run your Pi to stress levels.

Pros :- It looks pretty nice and classy.- Works very well, the lights, etc are all working nicely and change color.- Now my RaspberyPi temperatures stay at 35-36C which is a huge improvement over the previous casing at 55-70C.Cons:- It can feel a bit noisy at night - there is no way to turn either one or both of the fans off so make sure it will run the whole time. Also, the fan is not powered via GPIO pins so it can not be controlled via software which is aOverall I like it very much and this is still a 5-star from me.

Best looking case for raspberry pi 4 not only Rgb led and this dual fan cooler version the best it keeps my pi running 29-30 without overclocked , when transfer files or open plex I don’t see the degrees up to 34 , Hopefully Eletrocookie can make pi 5 case
