Better than original
There was a recall on the adapter that came with my Toshiba laptop. Since I had already noticed that it had a tendency to overheat, I began all the steps to get a replacement (submitting part numbers, taking pictures, etc.) The last step was to email a picture of the adapter to "Dynabook Inc" with the cord cut! I hesitantly complied. The return email said I'd receive a new one in 2-4 weeks. Great. I ended up buying this one while waiting, so I could charge the battery. It was among the lower priced ones. I had no problems with it. It didn't overheat. When my replacement adapter finally arrived, I noticed it was much more shoddily-made than this one. This one has a grounding plug, whereas the others didn't. I could have returned this one, but I'm choosing not to It's a good product.
