The tools work well and appear of good quality. I just wish the container was more user friendly. One of the 4 clasps doesn't work, the sockets are hard to remove and two of the wrenches keep falling out of their slot. I like the variety of tools, I keep the pack in my Jeep. If it weren't for the few hiccups with the container, I'd have given it 5 stars.

When I got married 20 years ago my wife gave me a nice set of tools from a good brand. Over the years I've lost a socket and wrench or two and needed a new set.This is so much cheaper I didn't expect it to be a real alternative, but it's a really nice set. The ratchets and pliers are very very similar to my old set, all the chrome looks great, the tools feel like top of the line tools, and the box is an easy way to have ready access to my tools. I don't even use my 'nice' tools anymore.The range of wrench sizes isn't great for some automotive uses, but for 99% of things you would need a socket wrench for, this works, and the sockets are the kind that contact between sides rather than on corners, and are less likely to strip a nut. The ratchets have an exposed lever, and you could break that if you dropped it, but that's pretty common and the action is very strong. I imagine these tools will be in great condition in 20 years. All the normal details, the rounded handles for saving hands, the way things are labeled, they are all really good.The case is also not that hard to open (sometimes the clips on these plastic boxes are stubborn, but not here). It isn't 'light' but it's easy for most to carry around and while this isn't as 'cool' as a big steel toolbox, it keeps your tools organized forever so I love the plastic case. It's also very tough, and easy to wipe clean.You do get a ton of screwdrivers and hex driver bits, enough for a lot of tasks, and the screwdrivers have strong magnets on the tips.All in all the price of this set is great for a nice set of tools. You can definitely get cheaper plastic cases of cheapo tools, but these are tools you can keep for your life, maybe adding a few larger wrenches and a cordless screwdriver and something that cuts wood to have a basic setup for a homeowner or someone who maintains their own car. I can't underline enough how impressed I am with the value.
