Update purchased in 2021 now 2022, works perfect on quick small jobs and jobs lasting 3 hours of consistent use. User note: The glue arm will not roll, until the correct temperature of the glue is reached. Really enjoy my purchase.Found the box upside down with other boxes on top. Binder was packaged with form fitting Styrofoam and was in perfect condition. The manual is helpful do read through it and the trouble shooting section first , along with videos online. Easy to use. Does what it raids it will right out of the box. happy with my purchase.

Piece of crap and I mean crap. It broke the first day and they refused to allow a return or to fix it. They ought to be taken to court. I reported them to my state attorney general's office who sent them a forceful letter. I was not able to use it and in the end it was a total loss. Don't buy one, you will be sorry.

At 1st time I was disappointed as the glue box was stucked and the creasing tray was not moving or coming out.Update: I solved the problem with the help of a technician. The seller is very good. They promised to pay for these inconvenience which will be credited within 2/3 business days.They machine is very sturdy, very useful. You can bind your books so quickly as mentioned. Binding quality is also perfect. Overall I love this machine.

If you want to make a cheap bind, like maybe for a mass-produced disposable book, this item works well. The glue holds well if you don't mind it looking ugly.However, if you are looking for a perfect binding, like you want to make your own books that you want to sell like you would get from the bookstore, then this is not for you.As you can tell from the picture, the binding is not perfect. No matter how many times you try, you will never get it professional-looking. There is 0 room for error, and even that will not look perfect.

The top half of the machine is pretty fantastic. It's a little finicky to get dialed in, but once you do it is wonderful.Unfortunately, I cannot review the bottom half of the machine. I received two, and both look like they had either been picked up wrong, or dropped on something that bent the creasing trays and made them unusable.

I was a little spectacle since other comparable machines cost a lot higher The manual for the binder is not very good. In fact the manual is awful. But after watching a few videos on-line it made the process very easy to assemble the machine and make a book. It does take some practice though and happy with the end result.

What I ordered doesn't match what arrived. It was super dirty out of box, visibly dripping with dirt, had to wipe the whole thing down. The "milling cutter" for the spine isn't industry standard, it's not splitter teeth style and instead looks two shards of metal coming out of a spinning disc (way to harsh to use on paper, it's supposed to gently score to help with glue penetration...not shred your book spine to pieces). The knobs, handles, and interface don't match the product image, the whole machine was slightly warped and didn't sit flat on my work surface, and the scoring wheel barely moved—it could barely handle 100lb card stock. Super disappointed.

The machine was carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. It’s very heavy. After unpacking I turned it on and voila, I made a soft cover book! Then another!I can’t lie, I watched a lot of videos before I got it. The instructions are poorly translated, but there are plenty of YouTubes that help. I recommend this hot glue binder highly.
