12-Cup Coffee Maker by BESTEK - Digital Programmable, Automatic Drip with Carafe [ETL Listed]

Outstanding product. Makes excellent coffee, easy to program. I especially like the lighted screen and the green light indicating that the delay program is active. I have given my Black & Decker pot to Goodwill; it lacked both of these conveniences and was very difficult to use.Update: After six months, the basket valve stuck, causing coffee to overflow on to the kitchen counter and into the unit's display. Bestek replaced the unit at no charge without requiring me to send the old one back. That's GREAT customer service.

Worst coffee pot I’ve ever owned.It’s brews a decent cup of coffee and I like the auto setting and the remove-the-pot feature.Now for the bad part: when it’s done brewing, it emits three loud electronic beeps that sound like a smoke alarm going off that I and my neighbors had to listen to every morning until I threw it out. Also, the opening for the water receptacle is so small and awkwardly designed you end up spilling water all over the counter.

This coffee maker looks cheaply made, but it works. I mainly bought it because it is BPA free. For the price it should have been made better.

I had to replace a Braun coffee maker which I've had for well over twenty years; only because the carafe was broken. Lots of research went into this purchase. It's a nice coffee pot but there are a couple of things that could be better. First, the area where you pour the water into the pot is way too small. I have to use a funnel so water does not get all over the place. Secondly, I wish the lines for the amount of cups were more delineated. This one goes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, whereas most other coffee makers go from 2 through 12. Thirdly, the top of the coffee carafe is not removeable. It stays attached to the carafe, making it difficult to rinse/clean in the sink for fear of breaking the top off. Lastly, it emits 3 loud beeps when the coffee is done brewing. No big deal, but we could do without it. All in all, it is a great little coffee maker. For the price of this coffee maker, it is worth it. Hope this helps.

I didn't realize just how poor my last coffee maker was until I bought this. Drip time is very reasonable and coffee is hot! So far, I am very happy with this coffee maker.Update: Now that I have used this for a couple weeks, I can say that I really do like it a LOT! It beeps 3 short beeps when coffee is finished brewing, the timer was easy to set and works like a charm. I love having my coffee ready to drink the minute I wake up in the morning! I use the basket for the grounds, it's nice not having to put in paper filters every day (although you do have that option).

Boxed well, has nice shape, looks beautiful, easy to program, keeps coffee hot, fast....really happy with purchase. It is a little hard to pour water in without spilling. Instead of pouring in right side, I hold pot over basket and pour on left so drips end up in pot instead of counter. It's a minor deal and just some flaw in design. Still totally worth the money!

One of the worst coffee makers I have ever had.I can tell how good a coffee maker is by how long it lasts me. The water in my apartment is very hard - so quite a bit of calcium builds up rather quickly. Because of this, I cycle white vinegar through it about every 4 weeks - and it usually keeps deposit build up in check, and a well made coffee pot will last me 3 years (I brew a full pot every 2 days).I purchased this coffee maker 6/29/17, and replaced it with a new one just today, 6/14/18. So it didn't even make it a full year. It took almost an hour to brew a full pot of coffee (even after cleaning it twice in a row), the beeping sound it makes (when finished) goes off after 5 minutes when there is barely 8 oz brewed, and the glass container spills water all over (not dripless to say the least), and other decanters by other well known brands do not fit - so you are stuck with what they give you. As others have said, the cover does not close as tight as it should - so that tells me the entire product is made on the cheap. Lastly - the coffee never did brew at a hot temperature - more along the lines of "warm".All in all - I should have known to purchase a brand I am unfamiliar with - and after only 50 weeks of working, I'm going back to other well known brands I have had in the past ($22-$27 price range). Those coffee makers lasted me at least 3 years.

What a great machine...12 Cups...works great...Super BONUS is that you don't have to buy filters...it comes with a handy screen. Coffee is great looks good on counter. AN added Bonus is that it beeps when it is done...and shuts off by itself after 2 hours of keeping the coffee hot. This is the way things should be. Work right...and convenient. Don't hesitate.
