I love it there are different difficulty levels and just how cute the hats are and how many different styles there are

You’d be better off googling free patterns. No photos other than model shots. Not one photo of the top of any of the hats. Definitely not for beginners. Each pattern has oh maybe 10 words. The rest is all abbreviations and no hint as to what progress should look like. If you know what you’re doing…go find a free pattern. If you don’t…this will be no help at all. I can’t use it so I will be returning!

I've made a few hats from this book and they've all come out great! Patterns are made with easy to find yarns. This book is set up similar to other pattern books, so I'm not sure what others are complaining about. Like most books this one assumes you do in fact know how to crochet; it won't hold your hand.

Very simple and simple explanation for a novice like me.

Added to my pattern collection but not tried yet. Lovely patterns.
